Since upgrading to 4.1 I've had a few members complain that they are having difficulty staying logged in. They claim they have to changing their password every time. It lets them in but when they come back it starts all over again. Also, I am not sure of this is related or not, but I have noticed clicking on the thumbnail link in FireFox asks me to log in but if I just type in the URL I'm logged in. Thanks!

We sell stuff for pick up at events. Since it's made to order, Commerce allows us to track it all. However, when you make a manual purchase the screen says this. It's telling them they need to do something... but picking it up is understood. People think they need to go to their email and verify it or something. Otherwise the order comes through... Is there a way to change the messaging here? Thanks JM

Hi I have created a default block that pulls all the news from my newsforum. Now while this works I would like it to look like this How would I achieve this? I have tried to look into the template file for custom blocks but could not even get the avatar removed from the default template... If you could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

Hi, I'd like to code a default image in case someone doesn't upload an image. Does anyone know how to add in a Default Image if the member doesn't upload one? I'm using this for a database using custom fields. I have noticed today that guests can download any attachment from my site (example), although it is clearly set differently in ACP (this is a setting for subforum example link is from): Did I miss something, is there a tool I should have ran or something? This is not good. Not good.

In a members gallery, they have it set to sort by title. When initially viewing the gallery it is a descending sort... 9, 8, 7, 6.... If a user overrides this sort to sort by date, then changes back to sort by title it sorts ascending.... 1, 2, 3, 4..... I entered in a ticket and was told this is not a bug, so my question is does anyone find this feature useful? I find this inconsistent. Additionally, it would be great to have the ability back for members or admins to choose the sort order, descending or ascending.... Part 2, would anyone know how to fix this manually by editing the source? oops wrong area, this is a 4.x issue...

When installing a plugin like Who Was Online, I see reference to using the Block Manager to enable it.. but I cannot seem to find that block manager for the forums. Similarly there are a few other plugins that I have downloaded, and installed, but it seems like there is an additional area I need to go to to force them to display, etc., but I can't find any documentation on where exactly to go. Are there any additional hints that can be offered with respect to configuring some of the generic plugins (primary things like city/state, visitor count lists, newest members, etc) to display properly after the plugin has been installed?

I have an issue with a posting feed. What I am trying to achieve is to have the latest post in a thread displayed in a block by a certain member. Now since I am not much of a programmer I just thought I would pin the topic select number of posts to display 1 and than filter for that user. But everytime I decide to choose the member it breaks the block. It works without choosing a member but as soon as I use that function it breaks.

I'm struggling to generate a drop down box on the profile fields. The one I was using on IPB3 had keys so I could do something like: 1=Option 1 a=Option 2 qwerty=Option 3 Then I could use a given {key} like letters and numbers to link an image to the {content} which would be the displayed Option. Was this functionality removed or is it just a bit different now? Can someone help me out with this? Perhaps I'm not comprehending the new profile types because this is all I'm seeing: Is there a guide anywhere that explains what these are and what they do?
