Hello, I currently have the issue that since some days or weeks the usergroup "Members" cant do any post in any section. I checked the permissions of the sections and user group and they are fine (create new or post). When I visit the creation link for example segfsge/?do=add I get an The page you are trying to access is not available for your account. error On the Error Log it shows: 2C137/3The page you are trying to access is not available for your account.

I have a live version up and running (its due a few maintenance updates) but I want to create a test install as a back up. I have the backup database on a different sub domain but when you go through the install it recognizes that there is already an Invision Community Installed in that database and asks either to choose a different database or use a table prefix. So the question is how to I get the test install working with the backup database. Any help would be great.

Hi, We use cloud-hosted solution. And we just connect Invision with ActiveCampaing using Zapier. Everything is going well except for the custom field, arrive empty. In the image below it is possible to see that the information appears in the Test-trigger of the zappier It is possible to see that the information is pulled correctly on "Set up action" for ActiveCampaing. When we run zap test everything is going well. The real zaps also work, but show us Invision its nor really send de custom field information. The code I'm talking about is located in /applications/forums/modules/front/forums/topic.php on line 1290: catch ( \Exception $e ) { \IPS\Log::log( $e, 'topic_call' ); \IPS\Output::i()->error( 'node_error', '2F173/I', 404, '' ); } The \IPS\Log::log() call is executed when a user without permission tries to view a topic. I found it only because I noticed a topic_call category while viewing the System Logs in ACP. I think it was left there by mistake when debugging something. It should be removed or changed to use debug() instead.

After upgrading to latest version, comments are show on top rather on side. I am seeing same issue on Default theme and all @Ehren theme. Can someone please help. I thought I had my community set up not to allow any image uploads and thought I had turned off the ability for members of all groups to change their profile cover photos. Until a member uploaded a photo of themselves as their new cover photo! I cannot tell what may be allowing this since I have double checked the settings for all groups (the screenshot attached shows settings for moderators, but I have put the same settings for all groups including "members"). Where else should I look in settings to disallow this ability?

Last night our forum was attacked with spam for a hour by around a dozen new forum accounts, although my mods were flagging as spam and hiding, as quickly as they did a new user and spam appeared. In the end I took us offline to clear it and banned users, reopened but closed registrations for the night. It appears to have been one individual, although they used multiple email domains and IP address to register they all showed as a specific location in India. I already had hCapture, a security question from choice of three questions and Email validation. I assume they need some manual input to clear? I have been trying to add a video to my page's media manager to add as a video to a page, but I cannot get it to upload on both of my cloud sites. Both these sites seem to upload it without issue, but when I click "upload" it kicks me to the home of the media page and no video is found. Support, I attempted to upgrade my Board Software and it failed with an Error and is now stuck on a generic “Upgrade in Process” warning. I can’t access the Board nor AdminCP. Ive sent an email to Support and am waiting for a response. Thank You.

I've found an issue with the search feature of the IPS Suite, relating to tagged content specifically. It seems that if a tag happens to include an ampersand ('&'), it messes with the Tag Search pagination. Possibly because of the way IPS handles tag searching within the URL (thinking that the & is a call to another function like "&sortby=relevancy" or something). To use an example on my live site, I clicked the tag 'PSO Episode I & II' in order to initiate a tag search. Notice the URL structure there. Steps to reproduce: Go to ACP > Commerce > PAYMENTS > Settings > Currencies TAB. Enter 1 or more extra currency codes. As an example, let's use USD, EUR, and GBP. Select the DEFAULT? checkbox for all currencies. Hit Save. The form saves all currencies as being the default one, and the frontend always uses the first currency in the list. The form should instead throw an error allowing only 1 currency code to be setup as the default one.

Steps to reproduce: Go to ACP > Commerce > STORE > Settings > Gift Cards TAB. Enter some values in the stack field. Let's use 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50 in this case. Save the changes. After the page reloads the Gift Cards TAB will display the following values instead: 10, 20, 20, 30, 40. The value 20 is listed twice, and 50 is missing. At this point, reloading the page with F5 (without hitting SAVE) loads the proper values. However, if someone clicks SAVE again in another of the tabs, the wrong values are saved in the database this time.

I have upgraded to 4.7.10, but I had to upgrade my PHP as well. As I was a few versions back I could not do an automatic upgrade so had to do it manually. I disabled all my plugins, third-party apps and themes and upgraded my site to PHP 8.0. I then commenced a manual upgrade by uploading the files from my client area into FTP. ips4.php checked out okay and when I went to run the upgrade everything was green and said it would be fine. After upgrading, my admin area is still functional but my front page is completely down. It is stuck on loading and then ultimately gives you an error 500. I have now gone through and uninstalled and deleted every plugin,…

We have in the past entered new members with apostrophes but now it restricted. Is there a setting to allow apostrophes? This has been tested on a local install of v4.7.10 with no add-ons. Ahh, I should have searched first. There is a solution 🙂

When I try to add this below link to a post: https://www.enworld.org/threads/some-interesting-stats-about-d-d-players.697908/ the forum automatically converts it to an embedded and broken image. It happens on this forum too. Manually it can be fixed, but that's not elegant. What can be the reason for this?
