I did just upgrade my overall board from the last version to 4.7.11. So now my plugins say "update available!" but even though I am signed in with my invision account (witness my ability to place this post, I think?), it gives me this error (below). And my community is up to date in terms of payment, checked on that too. I've tried logging in and out and rebooting my browser, etc., not working. When accessing the support tool in the ACP, the PHP8 compatibility scanner spins for a minute and then just turns red like below. There is nothing noted, but I'm wondering if this is a problem that needs to be addressed as it is highlighted as an error.

Hi, When I use builtin site search tool, the type search filter works well for Topics, but fails for every other type I tried (Pages, Files, Blog entries, Products, ...) instead of restricting the results to the selected type, it returns all the results found. For example, on the screenshot bellow I should only have files as results (like the 5th result), but I also have a product (first result), forum topics and a page.

I had previously mentioned in the support forums this week that I was attempting to update our CMS, where I encountered issues, including a database table being dropped. This resulted in us having to roll back the update process. Our hosts (Opalstack) rolled back the server files and the database to just before the update, and while it brought the site back - it is experiencing a few issues I'm hoping you can help us resolve. We already spoke with Opalstack, but they aren't familiar with the IPB codes. The primary issue is an inability to log in. When any user attempts to log in to the front end, it gives an error: I suspect it's related to these errors …

A few minutes ago I went onto my Invision site and got a red banner telling me to upgrade. I clicked on upgrade, and as it was going the normal upgrade, it Exited. Unfortunately I did not take a screenshot. Now when I try to go onto my site, it gives a 403 Error. Can someone help, please?

When I try to login I get a "Something went wrong" error and my account is immediately locked for 3 failed login attempts (although only 1 attempt) I manually unlock the account and the same thing happens again. Luckily I have a backup admin account, but I can't seem to get the main account fixed/unlocked even if I manually change the password so I am 100% sure it is correct.

I run a large forum with 35,000 users and have approximately 40GB of attachments from old posts that are no longer being visited. I decided to manually delete these attachments through the admin menu, it involved a lot of clicking since there were about 1,200 pages with 25 attachments on each page. After hours of manual clicking and removing old attachments, I managed to complete the task. Unfortunately, I encountered a problem where the posts still contained links to these attachments, which were no longer functional. This included both image thumbnails and actual attachments in formats such as ZIP files, but all of them were dead and inactive. Is there a simple way…

We have a lot of bugs in two latests updates, v4.7.10 and v4.7.11. How can we go back in a downgrade to older and stable versions until you can solve all issues? We have to offer excellent usability to our customers and this is not the way to do it. Thanks a lot.

Hello. What could be happening, that the members icon disappears when I change the language in my ACP? In the default, in English, it is appearing normally, but when I switch to Portuguese, which is my case, all the icons appear, except for the members.

Hello everyone, I just install version 4.7.11.1 I've seen 2 things in the documentation that interest me. Courses and lessons and lives topics with a streaming option. However, when I go into my system, I don't see any options as indicated. I don't have the Course section in my adminCP. and in my moderation module, I don't have the LiveTopic option. Why don't I see this? Is this an old version that no longer exists? Thanks

Following a previous post regarding upgrade issues - I managed to get my upgrader to complete and activated a new supported theme for the new version. However, I had a notice for a large number of database problems in the admin panel, so I began to implement the SQL queries to fix it, but now I am unable to access the admin area at all. I get an EX1146 error and it then logs me out again shortly afterwards... PS For Admins: We don't currently have a test environment and changes active on the 'live' URL on record.

Fixed: I was able to resolve this by closing the upgrader tab, and going back to the /admin/upgrade/ URL I'm trying to update our CMS to a new version. After initially getting 500 Errors, I was able to rename some third party folders to get to the upgrader GUI. When going through the upgrade process, I end up at a point where I need to make manual SQL queries to the database. I've done this process through SSH and all queries completed, however, when I click the "I have run the queries manually and confirm they were run successfully" button - it starts loading the upgrader process bar and then returns me to the manual actions page. I can't get past this point.

Since updating to 4.7.11 earlier today members are reporting that they have to keep logging in despite ticking the remember me option. I have replicated this myself on my iPhone - if I close safari completely and then open it the forum shows me visiting as a guest but as soon as I click on login or any other link then it logs me back in automatically. It’s almost as if initially it ignores the saved cookies but once you click on something it works correctly? Anybody else seeing anything like this?

See video for what this likely refers to - on a device where the "accept cookie" button has been clicked, the cookie bar still appears for a brief moment on page refreshes and then is hidden. And here is how it can be reproduced: Enable the cookie bar for guests Clear cookies and go to the site as a guest Cookie bar appears - accept cookies Login Refresh page - all is well.
