I've just started editing the custom CSS for the first time, to be able to style some pages just a bit more to my liking. However, this messes with the mobile layout (I'm just adding a div class via the WYSIWYG html). Does anyone know how to make sure a class doesn't affect what happens on mobile?

Hi all, I just migrated to IPboards from UBB. There are two features that I wish IPB had, but I haven't found a plugin or configuration to get them back. I was wondering if I may have missed something or someone has a suggestion (like using Automation Rules to do it, or something: 1. I'd like members to be able to set their own # of threads per page and posts per page 2. We used to be able to show how many unread posts there were in each thread for each member Any suggestions?

I've been trying to get a hold of Michael from DevFuse to no avail. I've been using his products for a long time and highly recommend them to many people often. I know he's the man and super helpful, which is why I have to ask here. Is he okay? Is something wrong with his site? I need help and IPS Support wants me to get an "upgrade path" for the garage/collections system from him so I can upgrade without losing it. Maybe Micheal has another way or whatever. I've tried contacting him on the DevFuse website and even posted there about it. Like I said. All to no avail. I can't even post in the Paid Modification Support there for some reason.

Is there a way to make an invisible / unsearchable group? I have a group that I use for some private things, I don't want regular members to be able to use member search to: a) See that the group exists, and b) Be able to pull a list of members of that group

I have what I think is a very typical hosting site. I login to the cpanel, go to phpmyadmin and of course I have no access to privileges from there. I can manually create a db and create the user to apply permissions to, but I can't create an account that has permissions to create a database. I'm automatically logged into phpmyadmin. When I run the install script it seems to locate the server but doesn't allow me to access anything to create the DB.

Hi, I just added a ips modal dialog (data-ipsdialog-modal) for guests showing a small "Register first" message. The problem is that the dialog is always almost 95% wide but this looks very ugly with only a small sentence. Is there any parameter for the a tag to show this dialog only with a custom width (i.e. max-width: 300px)? I don't want to change max-width of .ipsDialog > div ... because of the other dialogs.

Basically, when i first bought IPS it had 2FA then after a few days, it has now disappeared i have tried restarting my ACP and stuff but it doesn't seem to wanna come back anymore. 2FA still works on my forums but in ACP it isn't there so i can't even change any of the settings anymore. https://gyazo.com/3cdda4f69a42feca98628829c775f57a Here ^^, I'm on the latest Version as well. I can see IP Board saves IP Addresses in at least three locations: core_members in ip_address - Last IP address used? forums_posts in ip_address - When a post is created? core_message_posts in msg_ip_address - When a private message is created? Is there any that I've missed? And does IP.Board save registered users IP Addresses if they're just browsing, or do they have to "create content" - outside of that one location in core_members?

I am in the process of converting from 3.4.5 to 4.1.X and I have to rebuild my content and blocks because things don't look right. I have a custom block that displays a random fact (quote if you will) that uses a line of PHP. I tried all of my options when creating the block and paid attention to any notations about using php. I can't get it to display the random fact. For some reason, the word filter appears to be case-sensitive, which means I'd need to add every permutation of capitalizations for each of the phrases I want to flag for mod review. Is this something I can change somewhere in the core code?

So I did a ticket because I got a call from one my Admins saying the site (Tennesseeanglers.com) was down and showing as a threat. Members are frustrated. So it seemed I needed to go SSL. I did that and have it set up now. But it's still not working right and showing as a threat. I did a ticket (#975167) and they said I need to upgrade. Wonderful. I have a nice theme an some great modifications. The images are messed up. Is there anybody here with a good rep that can help me out? If so, send me a PM and a number. I know it's possible to embed the content of a block externally. How about the content of a download feed? My reason for asking is that we have several very, very small local versions of ourselves. They're too small to justify our paying for several licenses, often having just one member. I know I could build them specific pages within my site but the challenge is that some of these have existed for over 100 years and will want to have their own address rather than be accessible as a sub-directory of our main site. I haven't setup a 4.0 testing site yet and wanted to find out if site-wide SSL was going to be an option 4.0. Right now, using 3.4.6, I have a redirect in my .htaccess file to make sure that everyone is redirected to https when they come to my forum. There was a thread on the forum which outlined how to setup full SSL using the .htaccess file. I know there is an option to use SSL when signing up, etc. in 3.4.x Does anyone know if full SSL is an option in 4.0? If not, I hope IPS adds this feature.
