New centos stack (nginx, php5.6). I've just imported a data set from 4.1.9, uploaded files for 4.1.10 and need to access the upgrade script in the admin panel to get it to update the database to 4.1.10. Here's the error I'm presented with trying to access the admin panel: The upgrader uses PHP sessions to store data, however PHP sessions are currently not working correctly on your server. This is an issue you will need to contact your host about. (5C289/1) Here's phpinfo: Thoughts?

Hi, I've just upgraded from VB4 and has come across a couple of problems. I've be great-full for any help anyone can offer Firstly, on my site, it's not possible to upload an avatar from an ios device. Clicking on 'upload single file' doesn't do anything. This error seems odd as there's no problem uploading a profile background image from an ios device. (Using latest software release and default theme) Secondly, (I presume this is related to converting from VB) on a members profile page (and possibly on some of the posts, I'm not sure) the posts are showing all html tags (see screenshot attached). Hello there, For these past couple of weeks I've been playing around with a nulled copy of IPB (I admit to it ) and I spent quite a while setting it up. Just now, I paid for a license and I was wondering if it's possible to still keep my content so I don't have to start over. Am I able to just overwrite everything and do an upgrade? Thanks!!

We noticed that when creating recurring events in our calendar, the user comments on any one of the occurrences persists to the others. In other words, you make a comment to the Week 1 occurrence, you still see the same comment in the Week 2 and all following occurrences. It behaves like a common, shared comment thread across all occurrences. Ideally, we want each week's occurrence to have it's own distinct comments. They are distinct events, after all. We heavily use the comments on calendar events to organize for each week's activity: to measure attendance, to set agendas, etc.These change week to week. Any chance I'm just overlooking a setting? How do will give guests permission to access the support page? I am talking about these pages: /content/support/ /content/support/create When I go to them as guest I get this error message: "The page you are trying to access is not available to guests, but may be available if you sign in." I can't locate any permission settings in the admin control panel.

So one thing that really drives me nuts is if you have a long post that you are scrolling up and down forever to format it because the toolbar scrolls up. Anyone know how to either float and fix position of the toolbar or perhaps easier to make the post box a fixed height and scrolling?

Hi, i have problems using two tables with sort options (\IPS\Helpers\Table\Db) on same page, both tables are created in same controller in function manage() function. Each table has some common columns (name) and some different columns. If i try to use sort for the 'name' column, it sorts both tables, if i try to use sort for column that only exists in one of these tables, i get an exception. Is there any way i could 'distinguish' for what table i am using sort?

I can't say for sure when the problem started, but it was probably in connection with the latest upgrade a day or two ago. The thing is, when you quote someone, now you only get the quote itself, not who the poster was or the date (can't remember if the latter was actually there before). There are no settings for quotes in my ACP, so I'm not sure what to do. Is it just my board or is it the same for everyone?

Does anyone know why when I double-click on an attachment link after inserting it into a post, the URL does not have the http: or https: attached to it? In my case, it is missing the https: This makes it tedious for my members to simply be able to copy and paste this URL into my HTML5 editor which requires the full URL to be entered. I know members will start complaining about this. Thanks for any help!

I'm attempting to run the utf8mb4 conversion using the tool baked into the ACP since 4.1.12. It ran for a while with a standard IPS progress bar, then timed out with an nginx error at approximately 40%. If I reload the ACP and try to run the tool again, it resumes earlier in the process, quickly gets to the same point on the progress bar, and then shows the nginx error with a URL ending in: &app=core&module=support&controller=utf8mb4&mr=81 We have approx. 10m posts, and our test environment has 8 xeon cores with the db cached entirely in the 64gb of memory, and obviously just me logged into it. I was expecting it to take a while, but not error out. …
