Hi Guys I don't know if this is a bug or a config issue but here goes. 1. Member user opts to change display name 2. Gets redirected to LifterLMS account page 3. Select Account Details 4. Change Name press update 5. Click to go back to the community (menu item on nav bar) 6. Community loads and Name not updated. Sees old name 7. Log out 8. Log back in and name changed ok Any ideas on this? We are using SSO plugin to link WordPress and Invision so Im not saying this is an Invision thing im just looking for ideas as its not ideal that the user has to log out before seeing the name change. Hello, 🙂 Some of my board’s members sometimes can’t access a forum on my board. It’s the favourite forum on my board and one must have posted 5 messages to access it. What can be the reasons why some members have random access to this forum when they should be able to access it all the time ? Is there an option like « Number of members who can access this forum ? » Members say that can’t access the board and they get an error message saying : 2F176/1 error. Another one told me he got an http 500 error. But they can access topics where they have ben quoted. Can you help me fixing this ? Thank you, 🙂

I recently migrated to the cloud from self-hosting. My question is, if I set my email settings to: Am I able to send Bulk Emails to all the members of my forum? I tried doing so yesterday, and they were not sent out. I looked at the Email Error Logs, the email I attempted to send says this in the error field: Could someone please explain what do I need to do in order to send bulk emails? Thank you for any help with this.

I found an issue regarding author responses to reviews in the downloads app: Create a downloads category where reviews are allowed, but only after a file actually has been downloaded. Upload a file in said category. Do NOT download it for yourself! (This is the usualy scenario, because the author of a file already has the file, so there will be not need to download it.) Log in as another user, download the file and leave a review. Now log in again as the file's author and try to respond to that review (again: WITHOUT downloading the file in the first place). So, I've noticed that if you buy a theme from the marketplace, you can download it and when you upload it on a new website it will not work, which is fine. BUT, If you copy the theme you bought from the marketplace and you download it, and upload it on another website, it will work perfectly. I saw my themes uploaded on the marketplace for free on other websites. In my opinion, you should not let them copy it or download it if it's from the marketplace. I wanted to upload a few new themes with some pretty insane settings and features, but since I saw this, I said I will wait until you fix them. Hi, I enabled topic/post archiving here, with the following parameters: last post: more than 10 years unpinned The system informs that there are 95.305 topics that match this condition, which represent 7% of our total topics. After several days, these posts were archived, but we ended up with several really old topics that weren't archived. The 95.305 number seemed off, since we are online 20+ years with over 1 million topics. Upon further investigating this, I found out that topics that contained the value '3' in the forums_topics.topic_archive_status columns weren't archived. I don't know what this value '3' represents. Hi. We have just finished converting our SMF forum over to IPS and I received a warning about usernames being as login credentials. I intended to change username to email address as the credential, but I have no idea what is meant by 'standard' and 'converter'. Further, I have read various threads here which indicate potential problems with these settings. Please advise before I make changes. Thanks.

Hi, Regarding the "Content I Posted In" (stream_title_5) stream: Create a topic with user A. Reply to this topic with user B. Go to the "Content I Posted In" with both users and you will see the topic listed in their stream correctly. Now, merge this topic into another topic. Go to the "Content I Posted In" with both users and now you will see that the content will be displayed only in user's A stream, but not in user's B. I believe this is a bug. Cheers.

Hello I have some problem on ips lightbox or attachments images. Its not showing at all on page on every field that is added as editor data. The problem i just match and solve at first after update to 4.7.11 was to upload old files to javascript_global The structure of DOM html is fine and looks like normal but script root_library is crashing. Is anyone have some problems like me ? I just upload old files to that folder and its solved the problem but on next update i need to fix that problem if script changed.

Hello IPS, Tiny issue but always something to fix. 1. Add custom field of date and allow to define time for the field 2. Add a record and set the above field 3. Print it using {$value|raw}. In result at the end, after the date/time you will have extra space. It is visible when you use it in the middle or at the end of sentence, example:

As per title, this will cause the new Statistic feature to display incorrect data if you reinstall the app: The record was added 7 minutes ago but shows data from a couple of hours ago.

Click Poster's name, go to their profile page, click -> click Posts I tested on two accounts in different group, both don't have permission to view future publish topics but yet I could see all the future publish topics from there? Hi, In the cookies policy page (/cookies), e.g. https://invisioncommunity.com/cookies The header "Third Party Cookies" should be displayed only if the "Third Party Cookie Details" field in the ACP > Terms & Privacy Policy > Cookies page has been filled out. If the account is validating or partially registered (due to social logins), the cookie page isn't on the allowlist, so users get redirected back to the validating page when they try to view it.
