I have two Amazon S3 buckets: Bucket1 and Bucket2. Bucket1 is currently used as the main storage method with about 25 GB of files. If I change the storage method to Bucket2 and move all files, will the files be transferred between the buckets or from Bucket1 to my server then to Bucket2? I’m trying to calculate the cost of the move, and if my calculations are correct I’m looking at below $3.

This has got to be a new one I have encountered, ever since I started using Invision Power Services back in 2004. Keep in mind that I have permissions on my site set up very specifically so that only registered members can create content on my site/forums (my site is fully integrated with the IPS platform. With this in mind, Guests can only view or browse my forums as my community is set up to where they cannot post messages, comments, personal messages, topics or replies. This was never a problem until I logged into my site just a few minutes ago and discovered that two guests had posted new topics on my forums. I just had a quick question about this blocks feature. I'm trying to figure out how I can get a side bar with Recent Posts on it. I have looked everywhere and have not found it yet. I'm just wondering how I could add the recent posts side bar that I see on most of the IPS sites. I'm a bit fed up with this. Is this a bug or can the automatic admin timeout be adjusted somewhere? When logged in to the admin cp, sometimes I can work and sometimes click on things for a bout 20 minutes or so. When not busy, I'm automatically logged out. So far so good. But sometimes I'm even getting logged out when busy with things. I was busy editting the custom.css to add fontawesome icons to my forum. I encountered this already several times, while nothing was wrong. Sometimes going out of the theme editor, go back in then the isssue is solved. I just had put in the code you see in this screenshot with the error notice. Clicked save, everything was fine. However, my curser ended after the } character and I wanted it to be on the next line, so I pushed my enter key. Then clicked save again, and then this error popped up every time I click save. Same happening on my default theme. Is this a bug?

Hello I am wondering how the 'Site Map' works -- does it just build up automatically over time or something? Right now ours just seems to be a fairly short list, a small fraction of the total content. I don't seem to be able to find any kind of settings to adjust things, so wondering if it just runs on it's own and takes some time or something...? Thanks

This is a new issue that was just brought to my attention. Before I upgraded to IPS 4.4.1, I was running with IPS 4.2.3 with nobody experiencing problems. However, one of my members informed me that while they can access my website (I have IP.Content/Pages running the content portion of my site) he can't access the forums. Pages loads outside the forums as the homepage to my site "https://www.domain.com" whereas my forums run from domain.com/board. I generally go through the list of suspects (clearing browser cache, deleting temporary internet files) and so on but other than that, I don't have a clue. I'm on Cloud and was asked to perform a security update when navigating to ACP > Support > Something isn't working correctly. All went well, but when I visit my community, all links are showing the following: This is the same for all users and all browsers. I have disabled all third party applications, plugins, and themes, buy without result. I also cleared all my browser caches. What can I do to fix this? Edit: maybe unrelated, but I added social logins, connected my accounts and deleted it again (as part of a test).

Hi! Today, one of my admins tried to move a forum we no longer use to a different forum category (it's our annual birthday forum which we just save for the next year), and for whatever reason, when she moved it, several of our other forums moved to a completely different forum altogether. When she tried to move those other forums back to where they go, several MORE forums ended up moving into that category as well. I stepped in and tried to move the forums back myself, and while I'm able to move them back to where they belong, it seems that for every forum I move back to the appropriate location, another (seemingly random one) moves out of place. I have an issue with my phpBB 3.2 migration. Everything appears to have been converted over, however, -some- of my img bbcode tags have not been translated. They appear in the posts with strike through lines. Some seem to have been translated fine and others have not. I know the original posts were fine by checking the old site. The same goes for my avatars, some have moved over, but many have not. Does this mean my conversion had errors? It didn't report any. I'm still running 3.4 software. I want to update a few old passwords and I am unsure how to go about it. The first one is member #1, our software bot. I believe this handles all scheduled activities. I see I can change its password in the ACP but if I do so will that negatively affect execution of any of its processes? AFAIK this password has not been changed in 15 years. The second password(s) are the read and write passwords for the database. I don't see anything in the ACP for this so am I correct this is a task for the DBA?
