Hello, I change to change friendly urls for Download app from https://domain.com/files to https://domain.com/download. I can change https://domain.com/files to https://domain.com/download but not the others URLs. When I want to set https://domain.com/download/file/id-?? or https://domain.com/download/categories, IPS keep files in URL : Can you help? Thanks!

Hi! I’m writing ‘cause I have a problem with images’ quality on my platform. If I upload, for example, a 300x150 adv banner for the sidebar, you can see it clear on non-retina desktops but blurred on the retina desktops. If I try and upload a 2x version of it, so a 600x300 banner for the same sidebar, you can see it clear on retina desktops but blurred on the non-retina ones. Same happens with the community main logo. Is there a way to upload both the versions and ask the system to display the right one based on the device that’s being used to navigate the platform? Hi all, I have a database of about 2Gb of the previous version of our forum (but on Vanillaforum Community application). I prefer not to import it into the main forum (IPS4.5) but I would like to put it online for consultation only. Which is the best route? A Vanilla instance on a subdomain of the main forum. A Vanilla instance on the same domain as the main forum. An IPS instance on the same domain as the main forum. Other ways. And then, on the same machine or is it better to take a small separate VPS? Hi everyone. I run my community on CentOS 7. This is my php.ini settings In adminCP are set maximum image dimension/size per membergroup. If the image/file is larger than 100 kb I get the following error Sorry, an unknown server error occurred when uploading this file. (Error code: -200) My question is what could be the problem?

So I know you can normally get things from a URL into the page but I can't remember for the life of me how to do it and can't find any good references to it. The short version is I have a lot of cross linked databases and I have links to submit to alternative databases and link it to the current one. What I want is if you click that "Create record" link that it auto-populates the "database relationship" field so they don't have to enter it manually. What would you recommend or remind me of so that I can do this?

Hello, I'd like to highlight search results in feeds if a club is pinned. Formatting works fine and I already have it working using club_id in a template condition. But to make it more comfortable I'd like to highlight a feed line automatically if a club is pinned. The only problem I have is that the pinned setting is not part of $indexData in template system->searchResult. Is there an easy way to get it into this template? I would really appreciate any help.

In our schools database page, we have filters defined to search them. There is default filter feature at the bottom for "Show my schools only" which I think is for displaying only the Author's records. Since we are not allowing any non-admin users to add records, there is no need for this button. Is there a way to toggle this checkbox off? Or where may I find it in templates that I can remove it?

Hello I am not sure if Im missing something with the gallery. I have it setup that when a member uploads an image that a moderator will have to approve. But not where does it alert you when someone uploads. Is this a bug or am I missing something. Thank you for the help

Thoughts welcome (this one is above my pay grade). I have a Wordpress site running Formidable Forms. I want to embed a 'view' into an Invision page. This is the code they give me (I've replaced what needed replacing) but still no go. I pasted it into as page html and also tried as a custom block. The form view does not appear. Off hand, does anyone see anything that jumps off the page? On another post, I read something about how jquery loads? Thoughts? Hello Invision Community ! Yesterday my developper was trying to connect some apps on my zapier account with Invision. He told me it was not possible because Zapier is only available in Cloud service. Is it true ? I not really interesting about the cloud offer. In my opinion its really expensive and we can't have the hand on our server. I chose invision mainly because I thought zapier was compatible. (I need it for several apps) but if this is not possible then this CMS becomes useless for me. Do you have any solutions? Thanks for your anser. Jordan

I am in the process of upgrading from 4.4.10 to 4.5.x and on my test site around 80% of my forum was archived before the upgrade. When I review the old threads after the upgrade, none of the archived ones are displaying the archived message. I assume that they are still archived, and that there is an issue with the message, but I am not sure. Anyone else have this issue after upgrading?

Hello, I noticed a strange bug when displaying a sidebar on a mobile device. I see this bug on several different sites using version 4.5.x, including your site. Somewhere you use a media query limit with a maximum size of 534 px, which makes a "show" when you browse the sidebar and rotate your phone horizontally ... I took a screenshot and you can see for yourself - up to 534 px everything is OK, but then the screen splits in two - and the sidebar is twice as small and most often only on the right. Up to 534 px After 535 px and more Please correct this - quite an unpleasant experience ...

Hey there, I'm using Pages as a blog with 1 column design. When something is working slow (internet, server, client browser...), during the load of the web, the full article text is shown. Finally, when the webpage finishes loading, some javascript is run and the content of each article is truncated to N lines. What fires this truncation is this attributes in the section HTML tag: data-ipsTruncate data-ipsTruncate-size='7 lines' First question: Why is this being cut in the client and not in the backend? Hey! Previousloy with IPS <4.5, when a user was adding images to a post, they weren't enabling lightbox feature unless the image was bigger than the post box dimensions. Now in 4.5, the lightbox is always binding to any image even if the image is just a button such as this, let my try here: As you can see, the Invision logo is smaller than the post size, so I think it does not make sense to enable the lightbox system. This is a simple example, my users build posts with lots of images in a icon basis way, so it's very unconfortable to load the lightbox feature to them. Is there a way to lock this feature with small images?

I am getting non stop complaints for emails. Can we just not wait for 4.6 release and put the fix as a hot fix? Seriously, on the verge of getting my account suspended because user's can unsubscribe to their digest emails. Is it possible to apply the fix on my website? Haven't asked something like this in 10 years but i understand user's frustration. They just don't want email and so be it. Because of this bug they get spammed auto.

Hello, As administrator, I create a blog entry and save it as a draft, it is not published to public. The members cannot see this blog entry, it's OK. But the moderators can see it, why? Can I disable this? I have searched in permissions in CP Admin but I didn't find anything. Can you help? Thanks.
