I have an article posted that google will not index. When I check google console, it tells me that the page is excluded. There is nothing in my robots.txt file that would block this article (there are others that have been indexed). What would cause this? Seems that the database items, or articles in this case, would be one of the primary things you would want indexed, right? I could understand it taking time for google to index it, but in this case there is something excluding it. Anyone know how to correct this?

We're going to decommission a -TESTINSTALL use of the license and move it to a different base URL. The site exists now after a lengthy upgade process. If we ask for the current TESTINSTALL license to be decommissioned, and then locate the document root into a new URL base, are the only changes we need to make in the conf_global.php? We don't need to re-upgrade (ie., "re-install") correct? That was a week-long slog through PHP and database processing we do not want to repeat. If all decommissioning means is: a) We "turn off" the TESTINSTALL site by making it offline (moving it out of the document root) b) Ask you release the license so we can re-commission it…

Please convert this forum post to ticket urgently, so I can share the affected member credential. One of the old member had an annual subscription that expired. He went to renew now to monthly, so it need to sign out and come as guest to select monthly subscription (another pain point of IPS since 4.5 upgrade, reported and no action of this illogical behavior). Is there a way to buy plugins from the marketplace without going through PayPal, I know my request is funny because everyone has PayPal and it's a security thing but unfortunately I live in a country that doesn't deal with PayPal (I know it's weird, i'm 1 of those minority who can't have paypal )... Hello, I am using the custom IPS buttons available across the community. It works on the community but when the buttons are inserted in the emails, they will appear as links and not buttons. Is that the way it's been thought or isn't it working properly? See the attachments. That's what I see instead of the defined IPS buttons (also attached). I guess the style is not being converted to html that can be read in mail software. Thanks

I don't use a third-party or custom theme but spawn a child off the default theme and use custom.css. When I did use a third-party theme in 2020 and before it was snapshotting nicely. I feel like I must have something misconfigured or perhaps something in my custom.css that is killing archive.org's crawl of our club's site. Any tips for troubleshooting appreciated.

We did a install aster testing the Invision Community v4.6.11 Beta 1 and the default theme is displaying incorrectly. All the items that should be the sidebar are at the bottom of the forum. stacked on top of each other. If I turn them off the forum looks ok but when I refresh the screen (even after clearing system cache and local cache it comes right back) There is only the default them installed at the moment and I downloaded a clean copy of the default them from test site. Logon details for the site are current in client profile.

Call me a sleeper I guess, but I noticed I was not getting emails for when I received PMs on my forum. I was getting notices for new registrations and I then when to my settings on my own forum and noticed that the option for PM emails is no longer?? When did this get changed? Thanks.

Hi, Issue: Adjusting points on user account seems to have no effect. Account History shows that I've adjusted the account as '0' and then '1'. But, the account still shows '467534 points' within ACP. Side note: Points earned all seem to have the same date? (15/06/21 17:54) - Not sure if that is from the rebuild process or not? But the post date doesn't tally up with the points earned.

Hi I believe I've found a bug, can someone check/confirm? Store Products with "Show 'Submit Support Request' button" enabled are not automatically linked. "This will link the customer to the form to submit a support request with the purchase selected as the associated purchase."

I am attempting to convert from WoltLab to IPB, and so far it has gone fine with the exception of converting Members. It worked fine for Profile Fields, Profile Field Groups, Emoticons, Member Groups, Forums, Topics, and Posts. So the connection can be made from IPB to the old host, credentials are fine, db names/tables are correct, etc. The error I'm experiencing is specific to converting Members only. After upgrading to PHP 8.1 I am suddenly getting the errors below. My directories are 755 permissions, and haven't changed. I use Redis Caching Any ideas? Hello. I have a malware program on my server that is saying that one of the PHP files in the cache folder is infected. The file is a bunch of random letters and numbers. If I delete the PHP file from the cache folder, will it cause any problems with my forums or will the forums automatically recreate the file once it has been deleted (if it is still needed for caching purposes). Please advise.

Bit disappointed I have to share this info publicly so I'll keep it brief. Using inspect element you can modify text beyond what is allowed through the editor. This shouldn't happen imo and can be easily used to deface websites if used maliciously. Here's some of the "best" case scenarios this is used for. The worst case should be pretty obvious by now. Here is an example, using background color despite the editor not having the option. Even worse, I can set font size to a ridiculous size, thousands of times higher than what the editor even allows.
