  1. So I got this sorted, it was indeed the / prefix causing the issue. The reason I couldn't rename the tables was that for some reason I had 2 complete sets, one with the / prefix and one without. I deleted the tables without the /, I was then able to rename the / tables to no prefix. Edited the conf_global and hey presto - a working upgrade! Thank you everyone for the help 🙂
  2. Ok thank you again, I did try the host and they suggested I contact the software devs. I’ll contact them again and see if I can get it changed
  3. Hi thanks for that 🙂 I've gone into myPHP but when I attempt to change the prefix from / to (blank) I get an error saying that the table already exists. Is there another way that I can achieve this? Or is it possible to upload the files to a new database with the correct blank prefix and then connect my content to that? Thank you
  4. Hey all, I have 4 forums with Invision and 3 have upgraded no problem but 1 is not working. When I try to upgrade via the ACP it tells me to manually download and upload the upgrade. I've done so but when I try to continue the upgrade I get the following error - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '/cms_custom_database_1 SET record_publish_date = record_saved, record_future_dat' at line 1 I tried uploading the whole package instead, but it then tells me to run the install using a new database prefix which results in a new blank forum. So I'm a bit stuck. All my forums are with the same server/host company so not sure why there is this problem on one. Any help much appreciated!
  5. Hello - that has worked! Thank you for the help 🙂
  6. Ah I see yes - sorry I was too focussed on the password and name, I've updated that now and hopefully it should be what you need to gain access ... Hopefully 😬 Thank you for bearing with me so far
  7. I have FTP details for that forum in the info bit? All of the forums I have have separate FTP details I've just double checked the FTP details and I'm 99 percent sure they are correct 🙂
  8. www.r I have 3 forums so I think that might be the issue 😅
  9. I possibly put it in with a typo sorry about the hassle. I've typed it slowly and double checked so it should now be OK? If not I'll change it temporarily to something simpler in the hopes that that works
  10. Hi Marc, apologies, I've now updated that 🙂
  11. Hey all, trying to put some info on my forum via pages and it's throwing me an error when I click on pages in ACP - error 2S100/6 the page you requested does not exist In the ACP support section my forum has 1 critical issue - Modified files Some of the source files for Invision Community have been modified. /home/customer/www/**********/public_html/applications/cms/interface/external/external.php /home/customer/www/**********/public_html/applications/core/sources/Reports/Rules.php (note - I blanked the web address to share here) I don't know why this is showing as modified. I've downloaded the files as the ACP suggests and uploaded them but no change. I did a fresh install also but it still gives me these errors. Anyone any ideas what I can try next? Thank you 🙂
  12. That looks like just what I need! Many thanks for taking the time 🙂
  13. Hello, I'm looking for a way to switch off the ability for members to message each other but to maintain the ability to PM Admin and other Staff. Does anyone know how to achieve that? Many thanks :)
