Fatal Error in Requests.php

My site is down, seemed to just happen spontaneously, but the following fatal error is what's displayed instead

We haven't changed anything on the site recently so there's no new plugin or anything that could be the cause. No idea how to resolve this and get the site back up, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
