Hello, I am considering moving content out from my forum onto single "Pages". After having created the new pages and copied the content I would like to delete the then obsolete forum posts. Problem is, that the forum is well indexed by Google & Co, and I am sure some aticles are also directly linked to from some other websites. So my question is, if there is a chance somewhere within the ACP to configure page forwardings? Hello, there. I'm using Redis for caching, but after a server migration I started seeing this warning. The problem is that other applications on the same virtual host are using redis without a problem. If I try to change the caching system, to file system or mysql, for example, the warning keeps showing "cache not working". 1 - Already purged browser cache 2 - Already purged forum cache by the "something is wrong". Any ideas? Thank you for your time.

I have the club setting open - which I don't mind and makes it easy for members of the invision community to join (don't have to approve them or invite) But I am wondering if there is a way to hide the topics (which I have named let's chat) on the menu from those who are not members of the community yet. I have the members not visible to non members - so that is hidden, but the chat being seen shows the members and their profiles can be viewed. I'm not a fan of that since they aren't logged in or a member yet. So the members list is hidden, but in the end they can see all the members as well as their profile. I'm getting a 500 error when I visit my site. I just switched hosts, the DB has been uploaded and the new DB details were added to the conf_global.php I googled a bit and it said to check in uploads/logs directory but there is nothing there. No clue why this is happening.

Hello, I had a thread on my forum with hundreds of replies within it and out of nowhere it disappeared. I cant neither find it on the DB nor within the content search. After rescanning the post count, the post amount also went down. Neither the Moderation Log nor any Log contains any deletion notice. What could cause such issue? I have linked an account with AdminCP access on the license info.

I have a Wordpress site with lots of users and I want them to be able to automatically log into the community via SSO. So I have set up an OAuth 2.0 server on wordpress and connected it to an OAuth client on Invision Community. I have been able to log into the community via this method, so I know that it works. But that said, I have the following challenges to fix: 1) If I log into the main wordpress site, then go to the community, I am not automatically logged into the community. I have a question. Why is the advertising banner on mobile devices duplicated? Also on the computer with the reduced window. This is what happens with all web browsers. The size of the banner and the extension (jpg. Png) does not matter. Thanks for the answers. Regards Paul

A bit ashamed to say I'm not familiar with the logs in IPB, but noticed that the "uncaught_exception.php" log is 29G in size. Can I reduce it's size? In Admin > System Logs I edited the prune settings to 10 days from 30 days. Should I just wait for a background process to reduce the size of this log? Can I safely use the linux truncate command to reduce this log (worried that it has a .php extension and may need to be handled by the system)? Thanks for any help you can provide!

I recently registered a new member to our community portal through the AdminCP. I entered their name, email address and assigned them to a Group that has access to all pages in our community portal. However, after the member created their account (from a link in the email they were sent) and logged in, they received the message below. This member is set up exactly like other members to the portal who are not having this issue. We also noticed that the browser tab title displays "Sorry, you do not have permission for that!" Hiya, After a long hiatus of development with Invision power (only do it for my website not for public dev) I have come into an issue where when I modify template files for admin or front end (the .phtml files within the dev folder) they don't seem to automatically update on the dev site I have. I have attempted to clear the system cache but it seems that the template files I modify don't update in the database. I haven't attempted to delete the entries in the DB for the templates as I'd say that will cause more headaches. Hello One of my members alerted me to a bug by which any user can bypass the 2fa check. To replicate: Sign into a new account that has not yet set up 2fa, when prompted to set it up simply edit the URL so that it only contains https://<domain>/settings rather than the 2fa generated url (https://<domain>/settings/?do=initialMfa&ref=<ref>) By doing this, a user can enter the member control panel and has the ability to change username, password, email etc - completely negating the purpose of 2fa!
