Invision version 4.5 (I think) PHP version 7.4.30 MySQL version 5.6.51-cll-lve I get this error when I try to update: Some source files are not correct for the current version. If you uploaded the files to your server manually, the process may have failed or not completed yet. Download the latest version from your client area and upload the files again in order to continue. The files in questions are all the files in the /applications/ directory. What permissions should these files have?

Hello, I am having a weird issue with a member. He is unable to log in or reset his password. As an admin, I've signed in as the username and it works fine... but I've tried to change his password several times on ACP and I won't be able to log in from Chrome or Firefox. The admin can sign in on the website as the user from ACP, but neither the user nor I, can log in with the new credentials if done outside ACP. I've tried several times with different passwords and it won't work 😞 The user asked me but I don't know what to tell me because it doesn't make sense. I've tired to change the user groups manually, just in case it was related to the user group, but…

Hi, I just uploaded new reaction emojis. Now, the static emoji (to encourage people to like/love/react a post) is not showing up anymore. You can see the number of likes with the new emoji. But to see the new emojis "call to action", you need to pass over it. Otherwise: blank (check video below). Info: . I added very light emojis, square format, 100x100px, .png. . Routine maintenance tasks are performed as users access the site but it looks like the traffic to your community is not sufficient to run these tasks on time. This will cause significant damage to your community if not resolved. It is recommended that you set up a cron or a web service so that these tasks can be run even when there isn't any traffic coming to your community. how can i fix it?

Hey! I just merged a fairly large topic (lets call it X) with a smaller one (Y) that was basically exactly the same in terms of premise. X had a poll on it with quite a lot of votes, but upon merging Y into X - the poll disappeared from X! Is this intended behaviour? I did not see a warning that, that may happen (might just be my ignorance). Is there anyway to get that poll back? Topic X was also unpromoted (is this intended when merging as well?), that isn't too much of a problem as it can just be promoted again, no real harm there though is there any way to stop that from happening in future? Hello, I used to have user names with two characters only on my board. I recently merged two boards and users with two characters have added random numbers to their log in, ie AA to AA84465098. I am trying to change their user names in ACP, but I am getting this: The value must be at least 3 characters long. I've checked all over ACP to where can I change it to 2 characters, but can't find anything. I am sure it works though, as one of these boards before merging had working log ins with 2 characters was also on IPS 4.7.0. How could I change it? Thanks in advance!

I just changed the url of my community. Everything seemed to be working, including my admin area. Now I'm trying to upgrade to the latest version, but after a couple of steps I get this message: I tried clearing the cache, but that doesn't seem to work either. What to do? PS, The community itself was also working, but now only shows an "upgrade in process" message.

I have searched the help guides, done Google searches, and scanned the support topics. Was tagging a feature that was added in 4.2 but removed later on? It doesn't show up now on the 4.7 demo. The help guides state that tags can be used for all content. Maybe that statement should be revised? Thanks

Hello, We have a forum where members are subscribed (via the 'follow' button). When a new thread is posted in that forum, they do not receive a email notification. If they are subscribed to that thread, they do receive the notification, as intended. Not sure what setting we are missing, everything seems to be correct. I want members to get a notification when any content is posted under that forum , including new threads what settings should I be looking for? Any suggestions? Thanks

Hello everyone. My question will be simple, I've seen it on several different invision systems, and exactly like invisioncommunity.com, how can I edit my site's homepage and make it a partner with the forum at the same time? That is, when you enter the homepage, if membership/login/account is open in the top right, the account appears. They also work in partnership with the forum. Do I need to edit a page in the forum system to reach it? Also, is there an easy way to get the navbar menu at the top/pin it to the top of the page (again like invisioncommunity.com) or is it done with customization? Thank you.

On our forum we are seeing a lot of invalid moderator queue post counts. The clickable red numbers are a different value to how many posts we see when we click through. I have attached a few screenshots to illustrate this. We're up to date with the latest patch applied. Cheers
