A new member just sent me this from an email they received. I have logins set to email address (not display name) but the email says "not your email address". Hello, I switched IPS default theme to check a couple of issues happening with PHP 8.0. I set it as the default theme and also made it the default for all user groups. To my surprise, when I sign in a username to check what they see, I can see that: The user's template will not be the default one I selected for them on ACP And the user will be able to select between two different themes How can I hide the theme selection from the user? Hello, Is it possible no to send bulk email to users who have purchased a certain product? I can't see the option in the Bulk Email module in ACP. Members buy certain products and I want to send emails with links to certain posts IGNORING those user groups that have EVER purchased a product. I can't see that option. It's a critical one because I am sending emails to promote certain features and I am using the MEMBER user group. There are a couple of critical issues if it's not possible: Once the user cancels his subscription after purchasing product X, his user group will be reverted to MEMBER and he will receive emails again. Hello, Recently we have been experiencing an issue with the .css cache of our community. For example, today we woke up to the forum looking like this: We know we have a handful of custom applications, but these haven’t changed in a while, is there a possibility a new update causes this problem? I apologize if this is a stupid question but I know there must be a way to do this and I'm just not figuring it out. I have a club which includes Street Racing, Offroading, PowerSports etc.. and I have a Database for each to hold articles. Each of these Databases need to be able to link to something like the address field BUT with Offroading we just need the state since it traverses multiple cities.. same goes for PowerSports when it comes to the category trails. I tried to create a database called Destinations and then proceeded to create select box with each state and I was hoping to cross reference the database from the offroad database and powersports data…

If a user is a moderator, they never see the solved_did_it_tho_title banner to prompt them to mark a post as the solution, and also don't see the prominent "mark as solution" button. This means we don't know it exists until a member complains about it. This is because you condition both on $topic->isNotModeratorButCanSolve(), when it should really be something like $topic->isNotModeratorButCanSolve() || $topic->starter == \IPS\Member::loggedIn(). Good Day! I don't know if it is possible but... When a record is created, you have the option of posting that record as a thread within a specified forum. If you utilize that option, both creations come with a canonical tag that gives the 'thread' preference. I have a want for it to be the opposite, I would like the "Record" to have the canonical link direction. Any way to achieve this? TYIA

We have recently upgraded the server with PHP 8.0 and since then the site is consistently failing. Initially, there were 6 outdated plugins that we have removed and updated so that now compatibility scanner shows no issues. However, our site when PHP 8.0 is enabled still fails to load. We reported this issue to cPanel and they revert to the below diagnose that our site code still using the "magic quote runtime" deprecated function in index.php. Please help. Thanks in advance.

Hello, I just had my webaster to enable PHP 8 for the community. We got an error 500 after that. We enabled 8.0 for WordPress and another domain in the same server and all went smoothly. It didn't work on Invision Community. We've reversed the installation to the previous php version and works fine again. I need help on this. Thanks

Hello, I am using the bulk email to communicate with certain user groups. I inserted a small 600 pixels wide image in the message but the image is not seen when using my desktop email application on back or loading my emails on Gmail using Chrome or GMAIL app on my mobile. The image is not displayed hidden. I am running version 4.7.2.1 (latest one) See attachment. I can see the image place holder in the email that I received. Checked it on my phone, tablet and desktop devices. The attached image is never seen. What am I doing wrong? Is this a known issue? Thanks a lot

This is just an observation I made while working on this - initially thinking it was a bug in my own application, I've gone back and tested it out further and it's reproducible in the vanilla code. Note: I'm not requesting or expecting a fix, and the scenario where this is observed is not something I would expect someone to have in place on a live site.
