Posted October 10, 20222 yr Hi, We are a self hosted community. we are planning to use elastic search. As we need to add more complex filters in search. As per documentation a new server is required for this purpose. I have a query, do I require a new domain for this? My current domain is eci.gov.in do I require to register a new domain like search.eci.gov.in ? Please suggest.
October 10, 20222 yr You don’t need a new server, you can install ElasticSearch also on your current one if it’s powerful enough. You also don’t need a new domain, the IP address is enough, that said , you could also use a subdomain pointing to the server with ES if you want
