We use the Word Expansion feature to document the acronyms relevant to our community, nice little feature. Only problem is that it only seems to work for new posts and it doesn't update any existing posts using the word expansions/acronyms. Is there a way to force it to re-index them all? Thanks

Hello, When I tried to upgrade my site to the latest version, it told me: The license key is not valid. Please contact account assistance. While the next renewal time is on March 29, 2023. Also my another suite, the same problem.

Keep resetting my user account password, I try to log in and it says the password is wrong then puts me on a 14 minute cooldown timer before I can log back in. This timer also is inaccurate as I have waited over 30 minutes at one point and still was unable to log in, had to try from a different device. This is in response to my last topic, forums were compromised and all the people with access to ACP/ModCP were removed. My account "Banjo" on the forums was deleted and it was supposed to have been restored but I can't seem to log into it.

Hello, for some reason the account 'Red Dead Roleplay' is meant to be an admin, but it isn't. There are no admin accounts at all on the forums and I can't log in to the ACP. Need help. https://h324054.invisionservice.com/

Hi all We recently moved URLs from website.com/talk to the subdomain talk.website.com - do we need to do anything to switch the licence over to the new domain? Our automation is no longer working and we're wondering if it's related to this. Backend alert: License Key Invalid The license key in use is not valid for this site. Please contact support for further information.

Hey gang, We've got a community currently hosted on Bluehost. But I want to try the Invision cloud hosting option and see how that does. But I need help with the backing up, transferring and all of that. I'm not really interested in learning about servers, mysqls and all of that and spending a ton of hours with tech support. I just need this done. Anyone want to make this happen and help out? Happy to pay. - Steve

My site rarely needs to send me an email but I've noticed that when it does, some text seems to be hashed. Here's an invoice for something I bought on my site with Commerce yesterday. There are several yes/no fields which are showing as (identical) hashes rather than the correct "no": Similarly, messages triggered by @Michael.J's Forms app is producing hashes rather than the text content which the recipient is supposed to read: What problems should I take to try to resolve this, please?

Had a working site until nagged to point of frustration to upgrade and now I can't access my site or admin page 😞 Main access page: Admin page: My site was working very well for us and I was happy to stay on the previous version, but the nag screens turned into nagging emails. I just wish we could have stayed as we were. It's getting tedious now with too frequent upgrades. "Upgrade", seems to be mis-named. From working to inaccessible doesn't seem to be an "upgrade" 😞

I am trying to Install current version Of Invision forums on localhost buti am facing the following issue. An installation has already been activated for this license key. Your license key entitles you to one installation only. If you need to change the URL associated with your license, contact IPS technical support. even Invision mention we can add unlimited installation on localhost

So I am going to do a fresh install, but I want to restore everyone's posts and user accounts. However when I go to do a fresh install it will not let me hook into the existing database I have. I am confused. I don't want to lose a decade's worth of posts and users. Any ideas?

Invision Community 4.6 brings a brand new achievements system which overhauls the ranks system along with adding the ability to earn points which translates into a higher rank via rules. As part of the clean-up, we removed the custom member title from the author section of the post as there's a limit to how much information we can show comfortably! Of course, some communities used custom member titles and wish to continue using them. Fortunately it's easy enough to get them back. For context, we are a global youth charity and use our community to facilitate professional advice and support on a range of different topics. Hi - I'm trying to upgrade a 4.7.2 site running on PHP 7.4 to 4.7.4 on PHP 8.0. When I switch Apache over to use PHP 8 FPM, I get a white screen and an error like the below in the PHP error log file.
