We are sending an email to everyone now with all the details (may take through tomorrow for all to send) but short version:
Existing active, self-hosted licenses will have email support until 1 January 2022 or their current renewal date, whichever is later. After that, it will be community support only.
We will of course still always help you and if we cannot sort out issue here on our community, we will take your post to email and work with you in private. You have probably seen a lot of us saying "I will submit a ticket for you." We have an integration between our community here and our help desk (via our Zapier integration) so we can quickly do that.
So think of it as support starts on the community but email support is still there if we cannot help you in public. Of course billing/account questions can always be done in private by email.
Actually you went from $85/6 months or $170/year to $250/year. That's an increase of $6.67/month.
As you can see from the other post I quoted here, 6-month renewals sort of confuse people 🙂. Annual is pretty industry standard. Many clients will add account credits regularly throughout the year to smooth out the costs if they like.

Any clarification on what this means for support for those with existing licences which are over 30 days old? Is it only available through the forums from now on unless you buy priority support?

I should have kept my face shut when I was suggesting Invision raise prices.

But, in all seriousness I have no issue with the increase itself. But for a company that's apparently expert in all things communication, it's a bit weird to see it just dropped in there with a site redesign rather than pre-announcing it, emailing customers in advance or whatever else.
The site does look waaaay better than it did though.

I see you have already had one sent to our developers there, so hopefully we can get that resolved for you.

Add a new option to change prefix/add tags but keeping the current topic tags

IPS is saying, and I saw on my own forum, that "when" is triggered by a rebuild of the achievements.
And again I'll ask you to please stop posting here, as apparently you should file a bug, because the software is working as designed on my site, per IPS.

    Hi @opentype.
I saw other members reported issues with PHP v8 beside me a while ago. Is there any fix coming up soon for this plugin to support PHP v8?

This is throwing an error for us on 4.6.4 using php 8 (was fine on php 7).

The thing is, unless the image sizes are specified on the page, it doesn't matter which method you use, the page will still jump around as it loads. So, instead of height: auto, as it seems to be at the moment, the height of image thumbnails really should be set to the correct number of pixels.

The issue I have with delete content for spammers is there are no explicit safeguards to prevent this option for members of other groups from being banned.
Not that I fear it would happen out of malice or intent but rather by accident or curiosity what happened if a moderator flagged someone as spammer who is a long time member?!
I would prefer that this option be only allow to work on  specific groups (newbies) not blankly across all groups -
It seems highly unlikely that a long term member would randomly start spamming a site, this to me indicates their account were compromised and other mitigation should be taken. Such as putting said account in timeout wiping out credentials and putting the last X number of posts in to a queue for review.

Do you mean display tags in front of the topic title on the forum overview pages?
There is indeed an option for that! It should be in the Settings page for the application. If you have trouble finding it let me know!
You can absolutely do that with Topic Multimod actions. This adds the ability to set tags/prefixes to multiple topics via Multimod actions, just as AT&P used to.

Yes, I already said that I narrowed it down to this. But I am not going to remove a valid security feature just to show webP pictures. This is not the right solution.

Dll got a reaction from OptimusBain in Inconsistent widths within topics
I understand this is configurable, but it makes no sense that the default behaviour  of the software is to have a different page width for posts within topics based on whether it has less than or greater than 3 pages. Obviously, having a topic summary when there are just a few posts makes little sense, so I get the reasoning but it makes for a very inconsistent ui, which displays a lack of planning or consideration around what is actually best for the user, readability of topics and so on.
Has anyone looked into whether having the sidebar or not makes any difference in terms of the readability, the time spent within topics or anything along those lines?
