    Edit the HTML template:

I'll change those hard-coded items over to language strings at a later point.

For me, it is not important which editor to use, but how exactly it will be customized by IPS.

The main thing I hope for is that IPS won't carry over all the same bugs that they added to the current editor and haven't been fixing for years. Such as the complete inability to delete mentions in mobile Chrome, for example:

    1620649541089.mp4
As well as get rid of additional overcomplications, such as replacing existing editor functions. For example, fast and easy URL embedding on clumsy and slow:

SUBRTX reacted to Linux-Is-Best in CKEditor 4 end of life - alternative editor consideration
CKEditor 4 is reaching the end of life (source). Instead of jumping onto the CKEditor 5 bandwagon, I propose Invision consider an alternative editor. There are many well-established modern editors such as, for example, TinyMCE, Froala, Quill, and Redactor, to name a few. Any of these would make satisfactory alternatives.

CKEditor may be 'old school,' but it has become bloated, larger in file size and load time.  Most of the issues it encounters often have to do with responsive layouts on a mobile device and excessive load time. As mobile continues to dominate the landscape, I feel it may be prudent to focus on an editor development that has kept up successfully with the times with the least issues.

Changing the editor should not be expected in the next release. But a roadmap should be considered for a future transition.  Thank you for your time and consideration. 😀

    HAPPY Hump Day!
A lot has gone down in the last week or two. In case you need a little refresher, we recently soft-launched Achievements. It'll be available for all in the coming weeks, but for now you can get a taste of it here in our own community.
The response has been insanely epic 👏
The feedback even more so 🤯
I personally took notes of all the feedback provided. We've already started implementing some key changes (shout-out to our super talented development team!! Show them some love in the comments), including:
Explanation for how you earned a badge Current position / max number of ranks shown so you know how far you have to go Added tooltips on rank badges Added lazy loading Optimized rebuild routine Fixed a bunch of bugs I know that only scratches the surface, but keep in mind we'll continue better Achievements over time! 🤠
Lots to absorb here. Now that you've had some time to digest Achievements, how are you feeling about it? Sound off in the replies below! 🥳
PS - here's a short-list of some of the 4.6 fixes we worked on in the last week:

    - Added a confirmation pop-up when mass approving account withdrawals.
    - Added an option to limit Withdrawal requests to one per currency at any time.
    - Fixed an issue where the AdminCP livesearch results link to categories instead of blogs.
    - Removed Aggregate rating from JSON-LD structured data
    - Worked around a bug in MySQL when viewing statistics in the AdminCP.

What do you think about this look?

SUBRTX reacted to kmk in Moderation tool, Content encryption level
I would like have an admin or moderators assigned with Password Level tool, it can be available in Moderation tools, that feature will be let me do below example:
    1. Set password A (1xx1) ; password B (2xx2); password C (3xx3). THERE SHOULD BE AVAILABLE IN EACH PASSWORD FORM TO SELECT MEMBERS WHO WILL RECEIVE BY PM OR MAIL THE RELATED PASSWORD AFTER CONFIRM THE PASSWORD SET UP.
    2. A post is posted by someone with sensitive information, I decide it shouldn't be read by regular users and users with password A and B, so I apply Password Level of Moderation Tools and select Password C, then this post will show Password Icon, user introduce their password, if match show content, if not show message "This content isn't for you".
    3. The passwords can be selected multiple, so if I select Password B and C, then users with that password can read the content.
    4. The Password Level should be available for all type of content. Topic, post, entry, comment, Review, Article and widget.
    5. THIS WILL HELP MUCH IN FUTURE CONTENT PRIVACY MANAGEMENT, IF ANY USER IS CONSIDERED AS USER DON'T NEED THAT PASSWORD, WE JUST REMOVE THE USER IN THE PASSWORD SETTING FORM, THEN THE RELATED USER WILL CAN NOT ABLE TO SEE RELATED CONTENT.

Ahh another addition of Hump Day! A lot has changed since last week's HD. 🤠
In case you've been living under a very large rock, Invision Community announced/launched our latest feature: Achievements!
Read our Blog Post about it here.
This also means that this community is officially on our latest update: 4.6.
This update will be available to you all in the coming weeks!
In the comments of the announcement blog post, @Matt posted some additional visuals for you to digest. I'm going to include them here as well!

Here's an example of me manually giving a badge and/or points.

Here's the dialog the moderators can use:

One other thing we haven't spoken about is that you can allow your moderators to deduct points from a user when they are warned.

I have a feeling you guys have lots of comments / questions / concerns (and props of course) to submit, so please feel free to sound off in the replies below.

As the title suggests, if I restrict a member from posting for 30 days that should also restrict them from reacting to posts, or at least have an option to disable.
Had a couple of members now taking their frustration out by trolling the moderators with reactions following their temporary restrictions. Work around has been to move them into different groups where they can make 0 reactions a day, but would be nice as I say to have that as an option.

Hey team! Another hump day is already upon us. We have a bunch of 4.6 goodness in development still. We're aiming to have it released in the coming weeks.
I want to share a little teaser of a new implementation in our forthcoming Achievements application. You'll be able to reward members for getting a subscription to your community! Subscriptions are a super powerful way to promote community and engage with your VIPs. Here's a little screen shot:

While I've got ya... below are a list of fixes, improvements and updates we made for 4.6.
Also, there's a bunch of great topics in the Suggestions forum. I'm going to review some with the team this week and circle back there, so keep an eye out!
Any of these catch your attention in particular? Have a question about the new Achievements mini-announcement? Drop us a reply!

    - Improved soft deleting comments/reviews to remove code duplication.
    - Fixed an issue where review ratings are not recalculated properly when a review is deleted.

    - Fixed importing members from CSV to Date custom fields not importing properly.
    - Improved performance of the Vanilla converter.
    - Fixed some issues when converting from Vanilla and your files used to be in S3.
