This is intentional behavior. The permissions are not imported.
Our approach was to document and choreograph exact steps that would need to be taken. You can mass assign a permission to all forums or all usergroups (depending on the view you're using), by clicking on the checkbox at the top of the grid (in your screenshot, "See Forum" as an example). We didn't have a quantity of forums where this was an issue, and we were using the conversion to consolidate member groups, so we left this as a manual process to be done while the first few hours of post cleanup were happening and before reopening.
That said, you could automate this and test that as you go through iterations of testing as I previously recommended. Consider looking at using the API to assign group permissions in a process that you execute after the data has been brought over:

CoffeeCake got a reaction from Duken in I'm using nulled and want to switch paid one.
I'm assuming "nulled" means you pirated the software and its been modified in some way by someone to make it easier to pirate or not require a valid license key. Whoever modified the software to allow you to do this may not have the highest ethical standards, and for all you know, your copy may be doing not great things. You should likely treat your data and filesystem as suspect and as if they were compromised.
Rather than copy over valid files on your existing site, I would suggest that the safest way to proceed would be to use the importers to import the data from your existing situation into a legally purchased copy. I would not bring over any themes or plugins from your existing version, and instead ensure that those are acquired separately and from legitimate sources.
Kudos on you for being open and transparent.

Currently clicking "resend e-mail" 2,000 times after a short outage with our e-mail provider. Each click I think less positive thoughts about whoever is responsible for this design.
Please add an option for an administrator to requeue e-mails using a task. Something like "Reprocess E-mail Queue" and perhaps a setting for how many to attempt to send in each batch.

This sounds like a good idea, and is likely the same challenge of insufficient metadata in the search engine as the request for # of replies + reply-ible.

CoffeeCake reacted to Daddy in Activity Stream +Options
The activity stream is a great feature but it lacks the filter options and prevents overall customization of feeds. Here's a few examples of filtering I would like to see included out of the box. I have a category to greet members and birthdays that spam the feed and I currently have no option to hide them.
    Filter by Tags
Along side only pulling certain tags there should be an option to exclude certain tags. For example, topics I don't want to be shown on the default stream I can add the tag: Private without having obey with the topic permission settings.
    Filter by Category
Allowing or disallowing certain categories from displaying on the default stream to allow webmasters to prevent certain categories or create exclusive streams for any one or multiple categories to display on one feed.
    Filter by Group
This concept can easily be nulled by the filter by tags and category submission but adds another universal filter for webmasters to utilize. This option can also bypass the filters by simply disallowing certain groups' posts from displaying such as the group System that a lot of communities have. As said above I have my system greet members and birthdays via threads that spam my default stream like crazy.

Please consider these additions as it would give more freedom to webmaster to customize their streams to accommodate their setups.

CoffeeCake reacted to kotaco in Emoji sorting
I'd really love to see something that resembles how Discord displays their emojis. It makes a large selection of options far more manageable by showing your frequently used emojis first, followed by custom ones, then the standard ones. The side bar option makes navigating very fast, and it also show all the different codes to trigger that emoji all in the same box. Oh and GIFs as well 🙂

Just as individual discords can have their own emoji sets, there is an opportunity to integrate that idea into Clubs and allow each club to have their own emoji set they can use elsewhere in the Suite (or not depending on the setting).

All in all, any improvements are more than welcome whatever the case.

You will need to customize your theme CSS to make your navigation bar sticky. There is not an out of the box setting.
Someone recently claimed this worked for them:
Your screenshot seems to show a custom theme though, so you might want to check with your theme provider. Some have this as a feature in the theme settings.
I would love for this to be an out of the box setting. It's particularly useful from a moderation workflow standpoint.

I'd like to see the ability to create an activity stream based off of the number of replies, and whether or not an item is "repliable." In other words, show threads with X replies (zero as an example), yet only if a reply can be made.
This would help surface threads that no one has received a response to.
