There isn’t a global setting for this. That’s how it is now. You can change templates to accomplish this. See an example:

Yes. I've updated the marketplace to indicate that, but it's pending approval. No code changes required between 4.5 and 4.6, though.

Probably but it's EOL. Last supported was 4.4
That's the up-to-date version, an app now so much more extensible. Will be adding support for lots of stuff.

v2.1.0 has been submitted for approval
FIXES: a re-write of the re-write, reverting the location of the modifications to content to the PHP backend - this change was necessary as the Javascript functionality was being triggered multiple times on page loads due to other events taking place (ajax requests & content changes) and resulted in performance issues for the site. CHANGES: "Display video player in these forums" & "Display audio player in these forums" settings have been moved to permissions, and the setting 'as-is' has been applied to any existing permissions created. Added "Display video player in these databases", "Display audio player in these databases", "Display video player in these calendars", "Display audio player in these calendars" settings to permissions. Note: following upgrade to v2.1.0, you are advised to review the permissions defined in the application to ensure that they are correct

Since I update today my IPB board to 4.5 version, the position "Under navbar" doesn't working anymore. Nothing is visible.

About 95% done with the work on moving things back behind the scenes, and will be popping the following in to the mix too:

No worries...my testing indicates that there is just too much Ajax stuff going on that will still trigger the script on an ajaxcomplete event, and then you've got the preload functionality of the video/audio too.
I've got some spare time early next week to have a look at reverting the functionality to the backend and dropping the JavaScript method...shame, but it is what it is. Hopefully have a new version out for end of next week.

Hello @Nathan Explosion. I had to disable the application because since its update, it causes problems loading pages on the forum. Everything freezes and I have to reload the page. The problem is well caused by the application because it occurred with the update. Moreover, when I deactivate it, the pages load without any problem.

Thank you because as it stands, the application is unusable on my site. I have no choice but to keep it disabled, as there are so many complaints about slowness.

Apologies for that - I've submitted a request to IPS for them to put a block on v2.0.x being available while I look into this one further. Will either have the JS sorted out, or a revert back to the previous back-end processing, in a few days time...will update here when all good.

Just to point that this 3 year old issue is still going on in the last version (4.5).

Since the above application hasn't been updated since 2019, I wonder if IPS would consider adding some of these features into the core software? I imagine reactions are used by almost every community, so would be great to see their functionality expanded a little more. 🙂

What's new/fixed in v3.1.2? (currently pending approval)
NEW: Ability to limit the number of replies/comments shown in a topic/database record, if using the 'Hide all content' functionality. NEW: Content within an embed is hidden if the embedded post is in a forum where the viewer is not allowed to view that content. FIX: Hiding of content in a topic's search results is no longer erroneously tied to enabling the 'Hide content in a topic's first post' setting.

I believe I am correct but would like confirmation - this feature is actually one that I built in to v3.0.0 originally but there was an annoying side effect which I couldn't figure out at the time so I pulled it from the app until a later point, so I can take another look for v3.1.2

With 4.5 we got those nice and shiny badges:

However there is not much we can do with these. No way to edit the icon (I know it can be done manually, I am talking about AdminCP options...), to way to change the inverval for how long a "recently joined" member is getting a badge, no option to display badges based on usergroups (not just if someone has moderator permissions) etc.
Also the "hand icon" for recently joined members has received quite some negative feedback. It is misinterpreted for restrictions being in place instead of a waving hand (what I suppose it should be taken for).
Suggestions:
Please add a usergroup-based options: Display profile badge YES|NO (If YES, then 2nd option:) Edit profile badge: Background color (color picker) Icon Remove badge from moderator permissions (not needed anymore with the above option based on usergroups) For recently joined members, please add an option to choose for how many days the joined-recently-badge will be displayed.

We're already aware of this and working on it:)

A discography is planned for the future. It would show name and release date of each album and link automatically to a topic for any given album if one exists.
