Hello I would suggest a improvement for categories and tags introducing  taxonomy concept:
1. assign a basic structure, not a simple tree but a network model
2. extending it on posting new content
3. custom fields relationship useful for feedback/survey
4. define upsell, alternative, raccomanded content
5. multiple author/group for single posts/comment (relationship with other members share same/similar content)
This could improve the understanding of the order of things inside the community with some schema visualization and a genuine growth of it
Benefits: increase findability of content, great addition to Zapier @Matt, multilingual community thank you for it

Unfortunately, no. I’m in process in see what’s done, what was requested, balance both and will reply in the topic on the development board to decide with the others the next step.

Perhaps it's time to open source the code and throw it up on Github for others to help maintain going forward?

If I submit a file in Downloads, for example, it creates a topic and the topic is unread. Since topic is created dynamically with the same title/content of the file, it should be marked as read so it doesn't show up in the unread stream for the file submitter.

I recently upgraded from 3.x to 4.x and members on my forum are also reporting problems with logging in. I ran the SQL query and got 14984  results. What is the best course of action from here, should I ask IPS support for help in this matter?

Invision Community search and stream results push out the ENTIRE CONTENT ITEM TEXT to the web page and then truncates the result with the browser via Javascript.
This leads to long page load times, snapping screen behavior when the js routines truncate the text after the page has loaded, and so on.
This plugin truncates these results BEFORE they hit your user's browsers, giving them faster load times and better engagement.
Speedy Search and Stream Results (SSSR) is a roll-up plugin that includes my free Truncate Stream Items plugin and adds on a truncate search results feature, a bit that allows you to select the number of images pushed out to stream results when the stream item is a Gallery album update (new images posted), and a setting to allow you to truncate down stream descriptions which can get ridiculously long when a user has selected many forums and so on for their custom streams. 
The IPS javascript truncate functions will still fire on these pages but with vastly less text to deal with! Plus of course, the added benefit that that text was never sent to the page in the first place...

Attn: @Invision Community - Please add "Nodes" to the admin cp search index. FWIW when i search for anything using a search tool my expectations are for it to return results relating to my search terms, i don't care if its a language translation. I search because i'm looking for something ...
it is because of my own ignorance of not knowing correct location.... like when i yell at my wife and ask where my socks are if they are not where i think they should be , she does not say "socks don't exist"

Count me in as someone who thinks being able to search extra fields is critical.  I was shocked to learn that extra fields are not searchable.  I mean... what's the point of having them if they cannot be found?
I read earlier in this thread (2016) that IPS was focusing on Engagement and would get back to this issue.  But, it's 2019 and it's still not done?  I am well aware of the challenges and hard work that goes into these things and I don't mean to be pushy, but I would think the "fundamentals" would be a top priority.
Being able to search and find the content you are looking for is 100% necessary to keep users engaged and using our sites.
If they can't easily find what they are looking for they will just leave and what does that do for "engagement"?
I wish that was not the case and people would slow down and take the time to look around - but they won't, if it's easier somewhere else.
So, please consider making this issue a bigger priority than it has been.

Sorry, Brandon. Two examples are showing that there's some problem and you insist in want us to show this happening in the suite. The form helper is part of the API. There's a problem; it's simple like that. Unless a bug from now on is if it happens somewhere in the official files, then it's ok. I'll keep using custom validation.

Is it possible to have all the chats saved to a forum? I want the chat content searchable and indexed by Google because there will be some good information there. This would let users also look over old chats to help.
