It actually adds a single record to the views table, which is counted periodically. I would suggest disabling all 3rd party items first of all, and if you are running any caching, I would disable that also for testing

I need a link to the profile that they are appearing on, and the name of the item that is appearing, so I have something to look through there.

Could you give me an exmple on your site on the middle ones of those. If they are showing on profile activity, they are present. Once we are done with those we can concentrate on the other 2, which I may need to get someone to look at further for you
Sorry, Im a little confused here, as you mention only 2 there and state there is an unexpected format. I need to know only the ones that are not working for you.
The above are module permissions. You can use these for many areas of the suite to switch off items in their entirety from groups of people if needed. You can see more about permission here

You would need to speak to your hosting company if its being blocked at 403 level outside of the software, as only they would really be able to tell you why
It is. If you are seeing otherwise there is an issue somewhere on your site. You should not see any post before register content, unless they actually register.
Do you have any banners for upgrades or anything showing at the top of the page? If you click to dismiss those and refresh, does that correct the issue?
