Users do not always understand the difference. They mark emails as spam because it is easier and faster in comparison to unsubscribe. 
Amazon SES allows you to have 10% of bounces before your account is at risk. But it allows only 0.5% of spam complaints before you've got issues with them. The account reputation is not so much about invalid mails, but about valid emails that have marked you as spam.
You can clean your database from invalid emails. But there is no service to clean users who have marked your emails as spam. Unsubscribing with one click could at least lower the complaint rate. 😉 

@Marc Stridgen, for whatever reason, we all have users in our communities who mark community email address as spam. Whether it's subscriber forgetfulness or not being able to handle the account settings, it doesn't change the fact. They mark the emails as spam, and that hurts the sender's reputation and deliverability. 🙂

It has been that way for about a decade now (since early v4 development), Signatures aren't as an important as they used to be and very often add a lot of clutter.
As a work around though; if you enable the show signatures to guests setting, that preference will be retained into a newly registered account.

There's a topic somewhere here on IPS with a manual query. I tried to find but I couldn't... try it.

There were a few people requesting this around the site so it might have been a popular one - but I couldn't get past the thoughts on codec compatibility issues, and various other potential problems that came to my mind.

Just want to leave this request, please remember add voice ability to let us enhance and enrich our community communication... Today we don't have to limit us only as typing forum 

Normally, we use text to communicate through forums. But it would be great to see a way for users to click a microphone icon and be able to instead of typing their post, questions, reply just record an audio post.

Hey Invision, this is @Jordan Miller. I'm posting as breatheheavy since I have an idea for a feature I'd like to implement in my community and figured it'd be fun to reach out to the community.
I recently implemented @onlyME's Chatbox+ application and the Chatbox Voice Notes plugin alongside it.
My community loves the feature and have asked me if I could also make it available for them to use as a reply. 
Ideally, the original topic starter can include a voice note as well.
Concept:
Members can hit the record button and leave a voice note as a reply. The member will still need to include some text to coincide with the voice note (so the replies are not just a string of voice notes, there must still be at least some text or an image or an embed to go with the voice note recording). Once posted, other members can hear the voice note. Members can also quote the voice note and respond with one of their own. Why? Because it will add more depth to the member and add some cool new functionality to how online communities function. 
Do you think this is possible?
And if so, is anyone interested in helping me bring this idea to reality (onlyME mentioned they are not available at the moment to help)?

When the Chat voice released I asked for make it available for ips forum level...but the petition was refused.
Adding my point for that feature:
1. After finished the voice record, it should be appear a editor field to describe the voice note, so visually members can know that voice note talking about for what.
2. Part of ips platform good future, together this voice note feature, should be able to get another Transcription feature, so for who can not hear the voice note can choose converting it in text content. Something like the translation feature, from voice translate to text.

I gotta say, this is a pain.  I have to contact each provider, hope they have a site, then register, then keep up with many different sites.
Over time, there will be fewer and fewer providers, eventually most of them will probably give up.  Especially the ones that created one or two fun apps.

Again Mike, your issue has absolutely nothing to do with my app. You have records in core_tags table that are not returning in search (tags) results.

If you can access your database via PHPMyAdmin in your host, then take a look in the core_tags table. That's the table my app uses. There's also the core_tags_cache, which stores the tags/prefix used in the items. Both tables are tied to each other: core_tags.tag_aai_lookup = core_tags_cache.tag_cache_key.
That's the query to get the counter:
