I have no issues with the items that are in the left-hand navigator but I do have issues with items that are not in the navigator.
@IPS - any reason why Core is no longer visible in the guide?

I'll be having a sniff at this when I look at a new version of my translation application.

    ..and no.
    No, I won't.
    Why?
Because search results will now display an image if the content contains an attached image:

"But that's on Cloud only..." I hear you say. Nope, it's not - it's on IPS 4.7.0 onwards.
But what? How?...because the feature that they are referring to is not simply the adding of the image to the search results. It's the further analysis of the image, to look at what the image is (or potentially is, because y'never know...there may be flaws) as per @Matt's content here (see section titled '[BETA] Image processing and moderation'

An alert will not be displayed to the author of the alert.

What is the thinking behind the 'Change author' functionality being available after an alert has been created? Would make much more sense to have a field allowing that to be set on the initial creation form too.

Or more easily achieved - Jordan uses the tag system to tag the topics as "Hump day" and you use existing stream functionality.

To help others out on this one - if you get this specific situation, then run the ips requirements checker:
    https://invisioncommunity.com/files/file/7046-invision-community-requirements-checker/
You will likely receive an indication that the mySQLi extension isn't enabled.
To resolve, enable the 'nd_mysqli' extension in your php 8.x configuration.

Correct - when an upgrade is performed, there is a choice to be made.
If you choose to move to the new system, then you can 'disable' it currently by modifying the 18 default rules, individually, to either 'Delete' or 'Pause':

I expect that Matt will probably add a 'Disable all' option across the top:

An improvement I want to make to that plugin is to check if the email address is used by a known spammer too, so that would be an obvious improvement if included in core anyway.
None of that in there - I would have to turn this to an application to accommodate that, which I can look into at a later point but it will increases the complexity and support requirements which doesn't lend itself to a free resource really. We'll see, after I have all my outstanding paid items out of the way and....gasps....confirmed that 4.6 still would need it.

I'm well past the 'geeky' stuff - anything that used to be considered geeky is now the norm.
But we (myself and my wife) have the Guinea Pig bug.....we've got 12 of our own. A herd of 4 indoors (the mixed group below) and outdoors a herd of 4 (the goldens/reds below) and 2 pairs of 2 plus we are also fostering 2 at the moment for a rescue we help with. If you'd told me 3 years ago that I'd be like this I would have laughed in your face.
