As far as I can tell, Apple Music does not actually support Oembed, so it doesn't seem possible until they do.

Sometimes I feel compelled to speak out with regards to a service, it doesn't happen very often but today I do feel compelled to say something about the support given by Invision.
    It's First Class!
I've noticed, over the years, that some users post quite disparaging words for the support given, but I've never experience this myself and I truly believe that you have to give praise where it's due, just as much as you have to voice concerns when things are not going right.
I'd like to say thank you to all of the staff who have dealt with any issues I've raised, but in particular to @Marc Stridgen who has always been professional and always sorted out any issues I raised via ticket in a very speedy, precise and concise way.
It's because of this professionalism that I have and always will use Invision and continue to recommend it to my own clients when I believe it will fulfil their needs.
Thank you guy's and gals, each and every one of you.

This statement is so inaccurate, Snopes just went bankrupt writing its response.

It really depends on your server configuration - as long as specific folders are writable by PHP (you can use the support tool to check this - the install and upgrade processes also check on this before proceeding), your host can advise on the proper permissions for files and folders.

Ryan Ashbrook got a reaction from Sele in Huge problem after switching from vbulletin 4.2.2 to IPB
Note, that depending on how large your site is, these processes can take a long time. This is why they are processed after - doing them during the conversion would add a considerable amount of time to a process that can already be lengthy.
So, when the background tasks kick off, the site can be opened and used normally while they process, rather than having to wait the extra time. The only caveat being that some things from before the conversion may not appear quite right until they all finish.

After you finalize the conversion, a series of tasks are launched which will gradually parse the posts. You can check their progress in your Admin CP Dashboard. Click the arrow on the Background Processes block, and it will show you the current progress of each individual task.

Setting this aside, the manifest file is generated dynamically based on various setting, rather than as a static file. Moving it to a cookie-less domain would require downloading a static file every time any of those settings have changed (of which, there are many spread throughout the suite).

InnoDB is officially recommended, yes. In fact some places, like AWS, don't even support MyISAM anymore.
Apache versus Nginx and MySQL vs MariaDB really depend on personal preference, though bear in mind our support team are mostly familiar with Apache and MySQL.

Ryan Ashbrook got a reaction from Gauravk in Memcache. How do I know if it's working?
You shouldn't leave it enabled, but you can use constants.php to enable the Caching log which will tell you if it's loading anything from Memcache or not.
\define( 'CACHING_LOG', TRUE ); That being said, though, we generally recommend Redis now.

In your Content model, do something like this:
    /** * Do Moderator Action * * @param string $action The action * @param \IPS\Member|NULL $member The member doing the action (NULL for currently logged in member) * @param string|NULL $reason Reason (for hides) * @param bool $immediately Delete Immediately * @return void * @throws \OutOfRangeException|\InvalidArgumentException|\RuntimeException */ public function modAction( $action, \IPS\Member $member = NULL, $reason = NULL, $immediately = FALSE ) { if ( $action === 'delete' ) { $immediately = TRUE; } return parent::modAction( $action, $member, $reason, $immediately ); }

Is Mod Security enabled on the new server? If so, try disabling that.

That will be something your host would need to advise on, as Mod Security is controlled at the server level.

To clarify how this works, the ACP live search only returns a value for a keyword if we enter it, it's not searching in this case, but locating the tags we set in the acp.  If you feel we should add more, please provide a list of tags, and the urls you would like to see them go to, we can review these and add some more as needed.  It's a difficult item to keep updated as everyone thinks a little differently, and some often get missed when new items are added.
    Thank you

I only said what my personal preference was. It's been a long long time since we coded Ikon Power Community Suite 4 just for my own personal tastes.

We realise dark mode is a thing and people seem to like it. As mentioned above, the app has a dark mode. Whether we can being dark mode as a theme option rather than a totally new theme is another matter. We will discuss it but as we have a gazillion things we want to do, it won't get massive priority.

There's a bunch of good dark themes in the marketplace already.
