I use Stratagem for Project Management and its pretty darn strong for an app.  Been very happy with it and they are always developing/improving it.

I would be happy to see a 4.6 compatible version without any new functionality and an update incorporating new ideas down the road. That seems to be the approach other developers are taking.
Stratagem might fill the bill for you.

Hello @Adriano Faria Everything installed nicely on the latest version IPB and Links, however it is not grabbing the image from the site via Miniature.io, so I selected "Rebuild Thumbnails" in the Tools menu and got the following error message.

I totally agree with if you are a member of a club and that club has a blog and the leader allows a member to add to the blog then it should be allowed.  Its weird that a member of a club is so limited and there is no way currently to give them any permissions to do anything.  So really a member is a guest.  On an open club whats the difference of a member and a guest?  They both don't have permissions to do crap in a club.
Anyhow..  please make it possible for the leader of a club to allow members to have permission to add to a blog.  Its suppose to be a community after all.

I know the blog application is probably the least used of all applications, but I'm not asking a whole rework; only what the Galley application already has or does for clubs.
For what I have seen, right now, only club leaders or users with moderator permissions in clubs can write in a blog inside a club. This is the most restrictive permission possible. This is also the case, even for public clubs and it means that the blog application ignores the type of club and has the same permissions.
Galleries in clubs have the option to decide who can post images in that gallery: the owner, any club member or anybody.
I think blogs should have the same options enabled. so that members of the club could post blog entries if the club leader agrees.

Edit to add..  Oh! 😪 only an admin can add a picture cover in a club blog. 🤷🏼‍♂️    and blog cover pictures can't be added while creating the blog. First you create the blog, then you add the cover. This explains why most of my community blogs have no cover at all.

I appreciate it.  Let me reach out.  Would be cool if you sold this app.  I'm sure it would sell more now a days than ever before.  It seems its pretty big demand for podcasting a vlogging and it doesn't seem very difficult.  Biggest piece is to have a decent player on the site (which you already have) and the ability to store files and then RSS feeds for playlists.  So close...  🙂. Thanks again, I'll reach out Joey_M

I have asked @Adriano Faria to make a podcast manager, there's a lot of room for communities to deliver a podcast straight to their audience and it's a very popular feature for sites to have. I think once things get into a position whereby there's an app for this, it will fit the needs of quite a few on here.

Currently running a Wordpress site for our podcast that creates the rss feed for iTunes to pick up. The actual mp3's are hosting through a podcasting host so I won't be changing that. What I would like to find out if IPB can be capable to take over for the rss feed creation for podcasts? If not I would just keep the Wordpress and have IPB be the community aspect. Eventually I'm wanting to have everything under IPB and have different podcast shows set up as clubs within IPB.

Cowboy Denny got a reaction from DamonT in How do we get the Invision Community Theme?
The default theme is so limited and none of the developer themes appear to offer anything close (that I could tell) to what you have on your site which is what sold me on Invision Community for appearance.
Are we able to get the theme that Invision uses which is way more capable?

Thanks, a very very long time member of Invision Community

Any update on this? It would be a lot more cost effective for us to store files on GCP rather than S3.

We use Cloudflare, and only accept inbound connections via Cloudflare's proxies:

Yes, we use Google Cloud SQL for the SQL backend and Compute Engines for the frontend to host our large community. We use standard distro linux servers in Compute Engine, without any sort of plesk/cPanel/etc. If you're only comfortable using something like that, then you have the freedom and ability to provision accordingly. It may be possible to use App Engine for the front end, however we did not go that route. We do not host anything other than our Invision community on our IPS-specific instances, and for other projects, create separate instances as needed. We have a number of administrative web-based tools that run on separate SQL and engine instances. In our situation, isolating these things from each other makes sense.
We were able to significantly reduce costs compared to what we were paying with leased dedicated servers through what's now IBM's datacenter offering, and can take advantage of the ability to quickly scale. It also helps us with our testing environment, as we can quickly spin up copies of production for testing upgrades and new extension/application deployment. As GCP offered an initial credit for new customers, we were able to get a sense for average cost and correctly size our instances during the trial period without the risk of actual costs incurred while we tested things out and continued running our legacy infrastructure.
Highly recommend. We have not tried Azure nor Amazon's offerings, so I can't speak to comparison on that end.

We are going to add additional storage options as S3 can be mind blowing for some, but have not landed on any specifically. We're certainly open to suggestions and will consider Google.

It would be great if all the club owners could host there own store with there own payment options and own delivery etc..
    EXAMPLE:
let's say I have a website for farmers to sell produce (focusing on the local farmer) and each club is actually a farm and in each club/farm they would be able to post there own products, delivery options, payment options.
Then based on the features clubs already provides (showing farms nearest you), you could possibly find farms that might offer local pickup or delivery.
Seems so easy in my head but I know this is probably very complicated and not realistic.
My thought behind clubs is to allow someone to start a club and basically host there own site on your website.  So why not offer store/commerce options also.

Yes, you choose a type when creating the quiz.  A lot of things happens in the background, like different ways to calculate time and score, so there’s absolutely no way for me to change that.

WOW, you really did quite an awesome job on this application from the preview.
Are you able to add video and audio files and then ask questions based on what they seen or heard? --note: would be great if they weren't able to play the audio/video more than 1 time. Can you set it up so the tester doesn't see the answers in the results or anywhere?  Obviously if they got the answer wrong they need to study and retake the test. Thanks again for your hard work on this application
