I know how you feel. It is ridiculous to have to pay so much money just to access the marketplace files you have already paid for. You now have to renew all of your suite's app licenses just to access one marketplace update. And, if you try to get around paying for all of your suite's apps renewals by cancelling some, you then have to pay full price if you ever want them back. I've been holding off on renewing for this reason. Furthermore, as a developer, who wants to have to pay over $100 on renewals (if you own almost all of the official apps) to release one app that maybe has integration with one official app at best?

This is very disappointing.  I suspect it will affect developers too.  That was one of the best parts of IPS for me, the active developer community.  It's not likely I will switch as I am pretty invested in IPS, but as others have pointed out, forums are dying a slow death, this is not helping.

A nice simple toggle on the default theme is all we're asking. No more, no less. Can anyone do it without having two themes, as Day_'s looks brilliant and works well having used it.

So I see other forum sites (not using Invision) increasingly offering toggle-based "Dark Mode" and a plethora of users thanking them for it.
Yet sadly we don't see it coming for the front end for Invision Community (just the back). I see 3rd party developers offering such solutions for IC (so it can't be impossible), but not from the actual devs.

+1 for a native dark/night mode!
I'm not thinking about myself when asking for that, as I wouldn't even use it myself. But it's now far too common for any (web) app to offer light and dark modes that suit all needs and tastes. IPS Community Suite should definitely follow that.

I disagree. I fully support have a native dark theme from IPS and I don't think theme devs would have to cater to creating a dark mode for there themes. If you don't want to use the IPS light or dark theme then buy a theme and upload it. I use custom themes, thank goodness @TAMAN more or less makes a light and dark version of hiis Gradient theme. Would I still use it if IPS made a native dark theme? I would at this point because its a great theme and he supports it well, but to be honest I wouldn't have went to it if IPS offered dark out of the box and if the time comes it's no longer supported I will be quite vocal for an IPS dark theme.

I think we need to include this functionality as well.

We're getting complaints from users that although they want notifications for things like replies and mentions, they don't want or need them for reactions to posts. It would be useful to be able to give them that option. 

Just upgraded from v4.5.3 to 4.5.4 and can't log out of the ACP...no drop down happens when clicking your admin avatar or drop down arrow top right of ACP...plus ACP search doesn't work...since going to v4.5 my site has always been stuffed with one issue after another and fixes just cause other issues.

@optrexnz I had the same problem. It took me hours to fix so I disabled it. I wanted to have a setting or checkbox that could apply to new members only.  I'm not using it until that happens cause that ate up 2 hours out of my day!

Yes, the number of days constituting "new member" is hardcoded, presently to 30 days. If you wanted something other than 30 days, you'd need to work that logic out yourself in the theme or create a plugin that hooks into the joinedRecently() stuff.

I'd also settle for being able to set the 'New member' badge to t=1 day if that's easier.

I used to have banned members visible in vbulletin and i have to say it would be nice to have a similar feature. Ideally with 2 badges "temp banned and "banned". My idea is just that other members seing that someone was banned would incite them to behave.
Also, people need to know there is no point expecting an answer or a pm from a banned member...
I would be willing to pay a few bucks for a plugin like this 🙂

I think many of us are sitting back while the kinks get worked out of the new version. No major reasons to rush. 

After looking for this, I determined through careful testing that if I unplugged the server, I stopped seeing the message.

I'm working on an upgrade to 4.5 now where I'm updating a custom theme, and as a result I saw that this bit of feedback has finally been resolved 😄
Sorry for the bump, but I had a slight squeal of joy as I saw this, as it has been one of those annoying little pet peeves I've had with the default theme for some years now.

I'm sure you wont regret it. I made the move recently and was unsure at shelling out more money, having done so before, but @Makoto was really quick to respond and proactive with helping to resolve DB issues caused by a prior ATP bug. 1st rate support.

Until now i worked with Advanced Tags & Prefixes, but because of the ATP lack 4.5 compatibility, and due to your app wonderful reviews, i want moving to the radical APP. 
I would like to buy the Radical app this week, but i want first please clarify 2 subjects
1. could i insert prefix picture instead of a simple colored text prefix.
2.what is the meaning of the renewal fee ? is it mandatory to pay 15$ every 6 months?

Correct and this has been a long time suggestion and find it sad that its still not native since this functionality already exists in the blogs and in the pages CMS. - I have never wanted to create a post and have it "locked" and then "unlock" at a given time - however I have always wanted a way for people to post things that perhaps embargoed for a certain go live date. I hate having to get up at 6am because something has to publish at 9AM Eastern time.
