Not by default. But one workaround would be to use the time delay feature and set "Welcome member groups" to your member group. You would also need to somehow change your default member group to something else.
The Auto Welcome app has been updated for IP.Board 4.4.x.

Hello to my most favorite developer.  I wanted to let you know that I use Auto Welcome app, and would appreciate an upgrade to 4.4 when it becomes officially available. 

Here is a patch for this.
I'm checking all my apps and plugins for IPB 4.4 compatibility now. I should have every ready before or soon after 4.4.0 final is released.
I haven't really used the announcement feature myself, perhaps others can comment better on this.

Other payment gateways can be disabled. But it sounds like you want to use the gateway for purchases outside of the Donations app?

For videos or video categories? I don't believe IPS natively supports embeds for categories like that. But I can add a more nice looking embed for videos.
Can you clarify the second point?
You may need to use the Youtube API to automatically grab everything. If you check the media sites area, you'll see the location to set this up. Let me know if you need help setting this up. Are you having any issues with other popups on your site? Because I'm not seeing any issues with the quick add on my test board. Missing lang string noted and will be fixed in the next update due soon. Only if the video format follows HTML5 standards. If you have an example video for me to test, I can do that.

When you edit your form, what have you filled in for the "Log Message" field? If it's empty, it will record empty logs like that.

That's most likely hard coded but I've noted this and should be able to include a setting in the field form to set this.

All members of that members group or all members of selected groups? My only concern would be the resources required and internal host mail limits for this.

I'll make a note of this for future mod ideas. I believe there shouldn't really be an issues on modifying the images. I'd just need to check if there was a way to properly hook into the javascript to have it load those images on view.

I can commit to support for custom category urls. I've added it recently elsewhere and it shouldn't be an issue. It might be something I can include in a bug fixing update but at the very least in the next feature update.
Support for custom video urls and including parent categories in the urls would probably be something further down the line if you wanted to wait for me to include it as part of a future update. Custom video urls shouldn't be a problem but including parent categories in the urls would require a bit of thinking to ensure legacy support.
