I've tried for days and days to bring up a test system like my old primary site with no real success. See this thread I decided to delete the website files and do an install instead of an update and now I have the following error. A test installation has already been activated for this license key. Your license key entitles you to one test installation only. I'm installing to the same location (sub domain) of the primary site. Hello, after updating to the latest version of IP.Board (from 4.x), I am experiencing several issues on my website. Specifically: Despite having no installed plugins, I still receive a notice inviting me to update a plugin (chatfree) that I had previously uninstalled before updating the forum software. If I click on "get support", "clear system cache" and then on "Please also try disabling any third party customizations", I receive an error that reads "2S119/1 The CSRF protection key did not match. Hello, Yesterday I configured a server running on nginx, php8.1-fpm, and mysql57. Unfortunately, I am having a rather unusual problem with logging into the Admin CP panel. Logging into the forum works perfectly fine, but logging into the Admin CP is causing issues. When I try to access the Admin CP through the AdminCP button after logging into the forum, sometimes I am redirected to the AdminCP and I am logged in right away. My URL then looks like this: domain.com/admin and I am logged in. However, sometimes I get a window where I have to enter login credentials. I'm having trouble with an upgrade and have to attempt a manual upgrade anyhow, so I'd like to basically delete all website files (backed up of course) except just the old directories and files that are necessary to keep. My root website directory is a hot mess of old former website software files, etc. Over 33,000 files! Can anyone help me determine what directories should be kept? "uploads", etc? Thank you! P.S. I only have 'Pages' and no other applications.

I'm setting up a new Login Method - using Wordpress and OAuth. On Wordpress, I'm using the miniOrange OAuth / OpenID Connect Server plugin as suggested and I've followed all the instructions. For new users, I have it working at an acceptable level. However for existing users, once I've logged in, it's not mapping to the relevant Invision member profile - same username / same password. Instead it's prompting to set up a new profile. If you try to do that - using the existing email - it says that profile already exists. The URL of the page the error occurred on was https://site.forum/admin/?app=core&module=system&controller=background&do=process&csrfKey=REMOVED OutOfRangeException::0 The task break and can not run. I tried to disable ALL customizations, but the result is the same, so my educated? guess is that the issue is at a core level. Need help. I've just installed a fresh install on my server and it's not letting me login the admin control panel. No errors came up, but it keeps refreshing and no matter how many times I click confirm, nothing happens. Very frustrating. Are there any known issues or fixes around this? Thank you in advance. Edit: it seems I was using /admin instead of /admin/index.php - which resolved my problem.

I was 2 months behind on updates but caught up today. A couple of things are broken I was Lazy Loading images. Now many images simply do not load. I switched off Lazy Loading and they load again but this has a performance cost. I had 4 reactions enabled for the forum. Now only LIKE works. The others are still enabled in the dashboard but do not appear in the forum. I tried to toggle them on & off - also tried to create a new reaction. Still now only Like appears in the forum. The quote functionality is gone from the forum.

I moved my self-hosted IPS to a newly installed server. Now I wanted to upgrade to the latest 4.7.x version, bus wheen trying to access the AdminCP, I get this error: [[Template core/admin/global/globalTemplate is throwing an error. This theme may be out of date. Run the support tool in the AdminCP to restore the default theme.]] I tried adding the following line to constants.php: \define('RECOVERY_MODE', true); This lets me log into the AdminCP, and the recovery mode runs. I was the admin for a site 3 or 4 years back and recently re-inherited the site back to which there has been no upgrades. The site is way behind on updates and the automatic upddate failed and I had to do a db restore but yada yada poor me... I've been trying to bring up a test site so that I can test the manual update. Sooooo I have a domain of domain.com and then I created a sub domain of test.domain.com and copied over all the files from domain.com and created new database and finally got it to come up with some errors in the .css referring to the domain.com site. I have changed the subdomain for my wordpress site that links to IPBoard, but I have been gaving difficuly trying to relink IPBoard. I have had the license to the old site removed, and copied the 'community' folder into the public_html folder for the new sub-domain. After reading a post on the forum I then edited the base_url in the conf_global.php file to the new subdomain. From what I have read, I need to now enter the license key in the AdminCP. However, I cannot access it from the Wordpress site and I do not know how to access it. i would appreciate any help.
