Hi experts I installed Invision Community on my domain and configured as well as documented everything for me. After installation I wasn't able to login as admin. I thought there might have been a typo in password (despite being impossible in my opinion because I use a password manager). So my thought was to delete everything and start installation all over again. But no I am stuck on the license screen. It says that the license already has been acitvated (correct). But I need to reinstall (it is the same domain of course). What can I do now? Thanks in advance!

I have managed to gum up the -TESTINSTALL version of my license. In my Client Area I see that the license for my production installation points to the correct URL but that the -TESTINSTALL license points to the exact same URL. My bad. I would be very grateful if Invision would clear that -TESTINSTALL record. Then, when I upload a test installation onto my development server -- i.e., a copy of the files from my production server as to which I can run a manual upgrade to be sure it will work -- I'll try to remember to first edit the config_globals.php file so that it refers to the domain/subdomain of the development server (and so that the test installation will tell I…

Like I post a topic or post and instantly that topic post copied to that website... Only images and multimedia files are not copied.... I and my host tried. My host tried to ban IPs - did not work. file DMCA complaint, but still their host and the owner is not responding (2 months) My host said I need to try to disable Right Click event and disable text selection. I would like to try this; can someone show me what to do with this?

Hello, I recently moved my site and changed some file locations. I noticed that support forum posts that were created automatically when uploading a file did not update the URL to the screenshot. The links are still pointing to my old file locations. Is there a way to update these links?

I realize this is probably the wrong place to ask since I have my email configured to use my hosting services SMTP because I could not get the PHP email to work dependably BUT. Is there anyway to filter out anything from an email ending in ---> .ru <--- you know... Russia. That seems to be the only place I'm getting consistent spam on the "Contact Us" link. I tried setting up a filter on the hosting service SMTP server but it wants @mail.ru or @something.ru ... those Russian programmers are pretty good and constantly use a different domain ... thx

hello community, yesterday I installed the update v4.7.12 and my surprise was enormous when I realized that if you want to upload an image to a gallery folder under "page" it does not create the prefix generating image duplication when another has the same name. Dear all, I'm having a couple issues that I would like to address, and probably you've noticed the same. Preloading banner ads (Invision Advertising) A) I've noticed that my ads are adding a lot of time to render, impacting the LCP around 750 ms. I've changed on the ACP the "lazy loading" of the resources but ads have not the lazyload code. Maybe preloading them improves the performance. It's noticeable that the ad is the last item loaded on the page. On top of that, when a guest visitor open a page, for a fraction of time the page is fully rendered, but since the ads changes dynamically I see a redraw of the whole page. I've just renewed the Galley app after a very long time. The guide says I needed to download the latest software version and upload/overwrite current files, so I did that. You know when you get an itch and you just can't scratch it? That's me having noticed that the header in IC's blog is exceeding the full page width just a little tiny bit: It's irritating me because I can't see why it's there. My site will sometimes get large files uploaded. Anywhere from 200MB to ~1.5GB on a regular basis. It seems that people with slower upload speeds are encountering Error 200 when uploading files. What are some recommended settings that need to be setup to handle large uploads? We have changed several settings in regards to max_execution times, etc. Are there other suggestions?

Hi, I am using iCalendar feed imports as I need to integrate eight official calendars that are published on Google. In total, only two are seen on the calendar. There are also four that only appear in the profile activity stream, but not in the calendar, and finally there are two that cannot be incorporated because they appear as invalid. Naturally, I've downloaded the calendars "ics" files and everything seems fine. Could you check them and see what the problem is? Hello Everyone, I migrated my site from one server to a brand new server. In doing so I changed the location of my attachments. On the old server both downloads and attachments went to the same folder. On the new server I split them and want attachments in /attach. The site processed the file moves and all of the downloads moved fine. For the attachments the links to the /attach folder all changed, but the actual attachment files did not get moved. They are all still in my downloads/Monthly folders. Is there a way to re-force this file move? Is there a way for me to identify which files are supposed to be attachments and manually move them... other than going p…

Ok, hopefully this is my last tech support issue I have for today.... I'm just trying to work out kinks with a new server move. When ever I click on one of my main menu items... it's just a link that links to /files. The page returns a 500. Request Timeout This request takes too long to process, it is timed out by the server. If it should not be timed out, please contact administrator of this web site to increase 'Connection Timeout'. If I click on the link again before the 500 I am then taken to the correct link. Yesterday I set up about 40 member accounts to follow a couple of important files. About 30 minutes later I noticed that there were only 12 followers on one of the files. Swearing I had signed up more than 40 members to follow I was thinking I had messed up something. So today I went back in and set up the 28 members who somehow had slipped off the follow list. I took a screen shot just to make sure I was not imagining things. Well, I just logged in and found that there are only 13 followers now. What the heck is going on? I am unsure what is going on. When I am in the Admin CP and I try to log in as one of my members I end up at the login screen. ?? I have one member that each time I try to log into that account it takes me to a subscription page. I deleted that membership and made another one and it did the same thing. So I have some members that I can not log in as and one member that (even with a membership) I can not log in. So If I go to one of my test accounts and I click the LOG IN AS It takes me here. I just spent the better part of two hours logging in as 40 of my different members to sign them up to follow two important map files. I just went in to sign up one more and saw that the following button says "12 followers"??? WHAT!!!! It should say something like "43 Followers" So now what do I do? Go back and sign them all up again? Why did it drop all the ones I had signed up? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Jeff

If I uncheck this setting will it start auto approving my "manual" payouts or only the Paypal payouts? Reason I am asking is because Paypal has the API and will make the payout happen, but MANUAL is just that, "MANUAL". IE: I need to do something manually before approving the payout. So it would be useful for this to only effect Paypal. Can someone confirm is that's how it works? Thank you
