After the last forum update (4.7.19) on my server, there was a problem with a SQL query that takes a very long time to execute. It is most visible in large topics with more than 500 replies. Hello, today I tried to upgrade the forum and it got stuck during the upgrade and threw this error: Can not write /home/#####/public_html/system/File/FileSystem.php::337 (##### is name) This has never happened before, any suggestions how to fix this? Any help would be much appreciated!

Prior to the release of 4.1.19, and the maintenance task which that resolved, I experienced an issue where Redis failed. It just seems to always fail, and whereas previous versions wouldn't allow the configuration to proceed if it wasn't correct. Now I can type anything and I can proceed to downloading a new constraints file. I have spoken to a friend who helps me with my server, he suggested trying "/home/domain/.redis/redis.sock" (domain is my site's root folder - I changed that). Along with the IP address which previously worked. http://127.0.0.1/ Port: 6379 I don't see why all of a sudden it's failing to connect or work.

A user who was an admin for a time and still had admin rights deleted their posts - not out of spite, just wanted to fade away. The problem that they didn't consider when they hit the "delete my content" button is that they had started a number of topics over the years that were popular and evergreen. They didn't mean to nuke the board, and it took a day for me to realize what had happened. In the Moderator or Admin CP's, no deleted post show up. I suppose I could restore the complete database from three days ago, but is there anyway to be more surgical with my recovery or will I simply lose 3 days worth? Hi team, I don't know if it's a bug but I decided to report it. Well, in .19, from what I read, there were some changes with QAPage. So, I tried to change my email, but then I changed my mind. On the email confirmation page, I reverted back to my old email. After that, my account was deleted, and now all my posts appear as "Guest Donnie95." I don't want to restore a backup of my forum because it will remove 24 hours of content...

We have a test community and production comunity, we reinstall the server and when we trying to install again the platform we get a "An installation has already been activated for this license key. Your license key entitles you to one installation only. If you need to change the URL associated with your license, contact IPS technical support." Hello I am having a weird problem. I moved my forum from one self-host forum to another, and suddenly, I was expressing weird behavior. When users log in, they see they are logged in as different users! Every time the user refreshes the page, he automatically logs out. Any idea?

Every registraion at brfcs.com is failing with an error "2S129/1" and when I look at the spam logs they're all getting scored 4 and all the IPs are the same, "172.19.0.3" which will be the internal address of the docker container the board runs on. We had to move servers the other day, and this appears to be happening since then, before that the IPs in the log are all different. We had to change the architecture slightly too, the site is now served behind traefik and I suspect that might be the problem. Does anyone else run the board behind Traefik? Or seen a similar problem with the IP addresses? Also, what's a good way to protect the site from spammers wh…

Hi Everyone- I am getting the following message...... Some of the source files for Invision Community have been modified. /home/rockokym/public_html/applications/forums/sources/Topic/Topic.php /home/rockokym/public_html/system/Node/DelayedCount.php You should download an unmodified copy of those files and upload them to your server. Once that is done, check if the problem persists. I have downloaded the unmodified source files. Where do I need to put these on the server?

I have one or more problems in this community regarding the Calendar widget on the front page: https://www.oly-forum.com/ Main problem is, that events from club calendars do not show up. I'm sure this worked, I think it stopped with IPB version 4.7.18. If I configure the widget it only offers the general calendars for display, not the club calendars. Another issue seems to be that the widget doesn't update when new events are published by members. Is there a cache mechanism which I can trigger for updates? Maybe it's related to this issue:

I am being told by a member who uses an iPad and iPhone (unsure which versions yet) - that they can't upload images due to the file size being too big. I have checked the group settings he is in, and I don't see why this would be happening. I have been able to upload photos from my Android device, without any issues, using a dummy account on my dev site and I have asked others on my live site to assist. They have all been able to post images directly from their handsets. The same user, says he doesn't see images which I upload to IMGUR, I don't see any reason for this. After moving servers since the old server was too outdated and unmaintained. The themes are no longer working. Instead the community is shown as text. Which is obviously not ideal. I did apply an update, that was in CSS, but after the update it went back to this non CSS theme. My quess would be either some nginx related issue, or something with newer versions of everything. (The pervious server was running Ubuntu 18.04 and PHP 7.3, the current is running Almalinux 8.10. PHP 8.1/3.
