Could you please provide a link to the page in question? If you do not wish to post this publicly, please add it in the notes section of the access details page of the Client Area.

Looks like there is a 500 Internal Server Error preventing the page from loading. Please check your server error logs and provide us that entry (please do not provide the whole log).

I cannot open the Page Editor on any page without that error showing. This did not happen previously.

As mentioned, there is an error preventing it from doing so and we will need the server error log entry to determine what that error is.

Is this what you need?

What I think that @Jim M means is the errors that are logged in the Server Error log page.

That is not the correct error log. You will want to contact your hosting provider or server administrator if you are not sure how to obtain this.

As I am not your hosting provider or server administrator, I do not know how your server is configured so cannot provide more instructions. It is the responsibility of the self-hosted customer to be able to obtain these required logs.

The log should contain errors from your server when PHP encounters an non-passible error.

Of course, if this is something that you're not comfortable performing, our Cloud is available for you as this would be fully managed by ourselves.

How about this? I was able to open it in Word and WordPad.

Thanks

That is the correct log but, unfortunately, we will require the entry which is associated, not the whole log as mentioned. There are too many items in that log for us to detail what is the error. You will want to trigger the error and then grab the date/time for when you triggered then grab the associate error log entry.

Support said the fatal error was at the end.

That is an error with a third party applciation, birthdaygreeter so you would want to remove that if it isn't compatible with the version you're on or contact the author of the third party application.

As I mentioned above:

"I tried on the default theme, I tried with all customizations inactivated."

I'm afraid, that is what the error is so either that is not the correct error or you will need to contact the author of that application for assistance.

The error is on a method signature of a widget. Sorted. 👍
