Hi there,

We're running IPS 5.0.6 and we're seeing errors on the forum index page when not logged in:

[[Template forums/front/index/forumRow is throwing an error. This theme may be out of date. Run the support tool in the AdminCP to restore the default theme.]]

This also shows up on the system logs:

TypeError: IPS\forums\Forum::lastPost(): Return value must be of type ?array, IPS\Http\Url\Friendly returned in /var/www/html/applications/forums/sources/Forum/Forum.php:758 Stack trace: #0 /var/www/html/static/templates/forums_front_index.php(859): IPS\forums\Forum->lastPost() #1 /var/www/html/system/Theme/SandboxedTemplate.php(68): IPS\Theme\class_forums_front_index->forumRow() #2 /var/www/html/static/templates/forums_front_index.php(2789): IPS\Theme\SandboxedTemplate->__call() #3 /var/www/html/system/Theme/SandboxedTemplate.php(68): IPS\Theme\class_forums_front_index->index() #4 /var/www/html/applications/forums/modules/front/forums/index.php(252): IPS\Theme\SandboxedTemplate->__call() #5 /var/www/html/system/Dispatcher/Controller.php(139): IPS\forums\modules\front\forums\index->manage() #6 /var/www/html/applications/forums/modules/front/forums/index.php(76): IPS\Dispatcher\Controller->execute() #7 /var/www/html/system/Dispatcher/Dispatcher.php(169): IPS\forums\modules\front\forums\index->execute() #8 /var/www/html/index.php(16): IPS\Dispatcher->run() #9 {main}

Any idea what could be wrong?

Additionally, what was the last change/modification done to the forum prior to this issue happening? If the error will still occur even with an unmodified theme, can you disable all third party stuff and see if that make the error go away?

The only change in the theme was to switch the logo and grid to list style. I don't use any 3rd party themes or plugins.

We would need to look further into this for you, however the access details on file appear to be incorrect or missing. Could you please update these details by visiting your client area, selecting the relevant purchase, then clicking "Review/Update Access Information" under the "Stored Access Information" section.

We look forward to further assisting you.

Thank you @Marc ,

I have updated the credentials on profile. PS: It would be cool for you to add another input to enter the 2FA secret key rather than bypassing 2FA for the support user.

-Paul

Feel free to add that in the notes if needed. We need the admin login, so would need email adding there rather than display name

I have updated the credentials to include the email address. Will configure 2FA after you are done looking.

Thank you. I have created a ticket for you on this one and escalated it for you, as its going to need a more detailed look. Someone will be in contact as soon as possible.
