Posted April 18Apr 18 Had a bit of a hardware disater and ended up having to recover from backups. I had to wipe theme resources due to an encoding/corruption issue in the resource_data. I know when you update it tends to restore these but I was wondering if there was a way to trigger it manually? Also, is the IPS logo on the ACP apart of theme resources, or how can I fix these? They show as broken images. Thanks!
April 18Apr 18 Assume these are missing from your server's storage? If so, you can just upload them there to the corresponding URL for the image. You can right click on the missing image and copy image URL to find where it's at.

This happened on both my IPS installs where I restored off a backup. I had no data loss in terms of the /uploads folder so I'm thinking these may have been stored in the database.
April 21Apr 21 Author So I've tried so many things to restore these, including uploading them as new resources and changing the resource_location in the database. I'm unable to get the default resources to restore. I do have a MySQL backup containing them but the data in resource_data is corrupt. Any ideas?
April 22Apr 22 We dont store anything in the database in terms of files. We would need some examples of what you are looking at really. We can then take a look to see what we can advise for you
