I was hoping someone could assist me with this... I successfully converted my Wordpress articles to Pages. Now I'm trying to recreate my site so that it is solely working off of the IPS suite. How do I set my index page that I created to be THE index page that pulls up when folks type in my web address? I don't want everything trailing off the forum directory, if that makes sense. Hi, Being somebody that isn't very clued up on html and css, could somebody offer any advice or help to understanding pages/database etc? I have bought pages. I have seen SuperGrid by Opentype but been told that I need a good understanding of databases etc to be able to make it work. I don't. I have messed around with it but can't seem to get it to work. Is there a way/plugin/voodoomagic to customize (or remove entirely) the edit time restriction on content per app? right now we have a 30min limit, but we want to allow for unlimited edit time for blogs or articles. How can one achieve such an ambitious goal?

Hi all When editing forums with the ipb page builder upload image feature.. Is it possible to have different images per forum? Everytime I upload images to a forum, they auto apply to all the forums.. Not sure why this is the case? lt would be different on each forum so images are more specific to each forum

So one thing we're working on currently is to build revenue sharing features into our website. Google Ads allow for revenue sharing with members, but requires a lengthy application process to acquire the Google Ads Host API which we're currently in the process of doing. I'm wondering if there is any interest from the IPS team to natively implement the ability to track and share revenue from advertisements with members using the commerce system? Perhaps there is another solution for this that I haven't encountered yet?

Is there a way to update/edit the groups that a list of members belong to in bulk? I'm thinking like how, if you upload a CSV to Mailchimp, you can set it up update any already existing contact's information - and that let's you add new details or tags to their profile with a bulk upload. I created a new group to allow access to a restricted forum, but it seems I would have to manually add each member to that group on the admin panel or else modify the database directly with SQL. Am I missing something easier? Thanks!

I have done a lot of searching, trying to hunt down the answer to this on my own, but I'm kind of stumped. Then again, I don't actually know what I'm doing, but hey - I never claimed otherwise. However, even I know that something's not right when we're still just goofing around, testing how we want to set things up, and have next to no content and only a handful of user accounts (all of which belong to the admin team and our socks) and we've somehow used 7.57 of 7.81 of our disk space. That shouldn't be happening with almost no content at all, right? What am I missing? I mean, other than disk space?

There doesn't seem to be a tool that provides usage statistics for themes. I have three themes and want to determine how frequently each is used by my members in order to validate continued support of each theme. Does anyone know where this info might be in the database so that I can query for it? It MUST be in the DB either explicitly or implicitly, but it's not obvious. Thanks! EDIT: I don't think theme is 'remembered' solely using session/cookie data, because my last chosen theme is persistent across browsers, so it should be in the DB somewhere.

I am trying to set a certain color for a Group Name. However, in ACP when I click the "Use Color" option -- it lets me change the color but removes the HTML <strong> codes, which I still want. I would like to have the Group Name appear in Bold in a certain color. What am I doing wrong? Thank you. Never mind. I was able to get the code put in correctly now and have it fixed!

I'm preparing to migrate from vBulletin 4.2.2. As a form of spam control, I'd like to set "Require approval before content shows" to yes and remove it after 1 approved piece of content. However, I'm not clear if this will impact my existing users with at least 1 post whom I bring over in the migration. Will the function make a connection between the user and their prior posts, or will it force them to go through the approval process for their initial post on Invision? Thanks, John

Hello, Seems someone spammed the heck out of my Support Requests (IPB Commerce). Is there a way to simply wipe out all requests by a certain user or perhaps certain email? Can't seem to find anything obvious and nothing on this topic came up when I searched the forum. Thank you!

Is it possible to automatically include content with Tags in a search? Is this a setting I missed somewhere? Users are confused that searching for a Tag does not find the tags, because Tag search is an "Advanced" search option. For instance, if I search "Dragon", content tagged Dragon does not come up. I have to go to the "more search options" then "search by tag" and then "dragon" there to get content tagged "dragon" to show up. Is there an easier way to do this?

Good day everyone, I was wondering if I could get your opinion on what would be the "best way" to share articles with stock analysis on my forum. Hello, I'm making this thread in hope that someone is knowledgeable enough on this software to help me out. IPS has two product types, regular products, and subscription packages. There's a huge issue though, at least with what I'm experiencing. I can setup prices quite nicely with products, but the problem is I can't add a "lifetime" option. With subscriptions, you can add a lifetime option, but the pricing functionality is completely scuffed. Why am I only able to setup a initial price and renewal price? I was notified by PayPal that there are some changes coming effective March 11, 2021 I use the downloads app and pay my contributors exactly in the same way that IPS does here for the marketplace it’s very convenient to pay contributors their commission using PayPal through the admin control panel Is this no longer going to work after March 11?
