Hi all, I think it would be great to have a method to include advertisement banners in the notification email system. Right now the only options are to include social links and promoted content. See attachment. I would also like to have another option to include specific ad banners from the advertising system.

This is absolutely NOT mission critical, but I did want to know if it was feasible. Is there a way to create a forum that is only accessible to one member, not a grou? I know I can create a one person group, I just wanted to know if there was a member level permission. Another case might be when you have a forum accessible to a group but just want to have one particular member, not of that group, join in the discussion. Thoughts? Thanks all.

Hi, How can I (as Admin) get notified by email every time someone (anyone) makes a post in my board, anywhere? I know about the "Notify me of replies" in individual threads, but I'm looking for one general setting that will apply across the board so I get notified for every post automatically. Sorry for the basic question. I've tried to figure it out on my own, but nothing's worked. Thanks in advance. J

I remember once upon a time, IPB would let you change the default behavior the "delete" Post/Topic button from removing the topic or post to have it move it to a "trash" area. Is this still possible in 4.4.x? I hope that made sense. Thanks, Brian

When I enable this feature the following is the systems behavior: - new topic start --> forward to "one last step" (note above) registration page (after post) - reply to topic --> forward to normal registration page (after post) This seems odd that when a guest replies to a topic (versus starts) they don't get the same "one last step" note... just a normal sign up page. It's confusing. Is this a bug?

Every time a user reply's to a post, then his previously entered text is appearing again. This is very annoying. There is a bar at the button called: But that's a bit devious. I don't really see this happen here on IPS. Is there a way to disable this so if a user clicks box to reply or uses the reply button he get's a nice fresh screen instead of the text of his previous post/reply?

Hi, I wanted to ask, is there any default method in IPS suite that redirect back to the page after login from where we click login. Suppose I have a page that need login so i display a message there 'please login first to access this page', so after click on login , login page will be open and after login i should redirect back to the page. Please guide me, if IPS suite already have this feature, if yes then how to do it? like mydomain.com/forum/login?redirectTo=mypage Thanks

My menu tabs at the top of my site suddenly need 2 clicks instead of 1. This seems like it happened after the last upgrade. Mouse over used to bring up the sub menu and click was action. Now 1 click is submenu and 2 clicks is action. I really dislike this. Is anyone else noticing this?

Is there any documentation around what is included in the Invision Community platform search index? I'm aware content Title and Body fields are included, but are Tag and category texts included? For instance, if I search for "tag1" in the main search (not searching by tags) should items in tag1 appear. For instance, if I search for "Category1" in the main search would items with "Category1" appear?

Could someone guide me whether its a shopping cart bug or something I'm missing in the IPS Commerce? How can one, as a moderator/admin, view the content of promoted posts "our picks" and unpick/hide/remove? Also I am having difficulty enabling the setting to allow myself to choose content, must be missing some sort of setting in Admin CP but can't seem to find it. I put a guest signup widget on my forums. I entered text in it so it looks nice. After that I put this widget on several parts of the site like for example forums, downloads and videos. Today by accident I removed the widget from the "forums". The widget is still present with Downlaods and Videos. But when I wanted to put back the block in Forums the title and text etc. was all gone, empty. So I thought I could copy of the text from the widget in the one present in the Downloads section. I'm wondering if anyone can point me to the the right direction of using doing this. I want to use a copy of my live db and use it on my test site but I cant figure out how to make it work. This is what I've tried so far: Do a fresh new install on a new DB - everything works with no data. Copy the live db to my new test db - I see data but all messed up I then Copy the files from the live site to the new test site - images are there now but the styling is all messed up. I reinstalled the theme - site looks exactly like the live site BUT I cant do anything I cant login as a user, view a topic. I keep getting this error for every single thing…

I have been trying to embed a youtube video into a post but it does not work as expected. I start a new topic, type a title in for it, paste the youtube URL in and press enter - the video shows in the edit panel (I can play it if I want) and below the edit panel I get a message saying If I click the source button on the toolbar I can see the iframe code as expected.
