Blocking Devices

Hi all,

We've come across a spat of spammers and the like. We see that all the accounts registering are using the same Device but different IPs. Is there a way to block that specific device from the Administrative Panel, or would I have to use the Cloudflare firewall?

How did you find it the same device? What device is it?

Even if you could ban a device, it uses cookies to generate its “key”. So it’s enough to the user delete cookies to generate a new key and then they’re not blocked anymore.

Admin CP, check user, Devices

Is there a way to get them blocked then? I assume this is the curse of trying to ban a problem member.

I’ve made a plugin but IPS didn’t allowed it on Marketplace due to this reason. I still should have it. I’ll send a PM tomorrow if you’re interested.
