why each upgrade change the favicon and replace the existing one? I made my own, and after each upgrade I must reupload it again and again and again why you replace what we already have? :blink: I lost it once, not knowing this..:(

Cleancut doesn't seem very 'Clean' or 'Well cut' anymore... I really, really don't like how there is a huge space just for the ip.board logo. I'd like to see the LoFi skin work better on the iPhone or maybe a new skin derived from the LoFi skin for iPhone use. The main problem, at least when using Safari on my iPhone, is that the fonts are so small and the page so wide that I have to keep zooming in on each page to see the text and choose links. I haven't researched it, but there must be some way to make this work. When I browse to m.google.com with my browser user agent set to pretend to be an iPhone, I see that the page is formatted specifically for the iPhone so that the page fits the phone's screen exactly and the fonts are large enough to be seen. I like the new look in IPB3 especially for code formatting it is very helpful, see snapshot below: Unfortunately when it comes to printing a topic the formatting goes awry: It would be nice if the print feature could retain some of the original formatting because all modern printers should be able to handle this. It is now possible to print straight to PDF so retaining the formatting would be very advantageous... Ted.

Hello! My forums is extremely slow after the upgrade to IPB 3.0.2! Page load speeds have increased from 0.3 seconds to 5 to 10 seconds each. It is becomin unbearable! I am looking at the task manager for my server right now, the site is using 90% of the CPU. I have tried enabling Performance Mode. The CPU usage went down to about 88%. What is going on? Why is my site so slow? I have also noticed that these company forums have been affected, but nearly by as much. Currently, I am greatly disappointed with the performance of the board: I have been forced to turn the board offline in order to prevent the CPU to be damaged, and I am in the process of saving some of settin…

Someone decided to be funny and post a fake link to CCS purchase page on here, but it did go to a confirmation page to purchase "" for $0.00. Out of curiosity, I clicked it, and I now have a package that is...nothing. Very simple.. Via member group setting, a member of a group could add their own emoticons and names (although the names would be forced to be between colon's) that they could use when they make posts. The member group setting should be -1/0/# settable (-1 unlimited, 0 is off or not allowed, otherwise the # is the maximum number of personal emoticons they can have/setup). Each emoticon would either be a file they upload or a URL to the emoticon itself. The emoticons should also replace the boards default emoticons (perhaps setting per group if that group can override default emoticons). So if someone wanted to use their own version of a common smiley, they could.

The new Lo-fi version of IPB is much better than the old one. It's great that we can now log in and post messages. But since we can log in, it makes sense that there should be a way to view new posts as well so we can catch up on things directly instead of browsing through the whole forum.

Hi! I manage a multilanguage board... What I need to know in each upgrade, is ALL the changes that has been done in ALL upgrades... What I mean is you give us a list indicating for example: System --> public_search --> actperiod_week (first page) System --> public_search --> actperiod_today (first page) System --> public_search --> actperiod_month (first page) System --> public_search --> actperiod_weeks (first page) System --> public_search --> actperiod_year (first page) and so on... I have a question concerning the admin panel. When you login you are given some sort of hash such as: .../admin/index.php?adsess=28935k23jlkjljsdfl2323r&app=core&module=diagnostics Is this some sort of md5 encryption? If I give this link to somebody else with a different IP, will they be able to get into the admin panel? I tried copy-pasting the same link into different browsers and was logged in automatically. I assume this special number changes after sessions correct? During this interval, if I give you that link, will you be able to gain access to the admin panel without directly logging in?

In IPB 2.x when logging in to AdminCP there was a nice little box with version and build details of IPB. I was wondering if this could be moved from the "Support" tab back to the main AdminCP page and if possible include version details of the other installed modules please? Ted.

Since my suggestion to have all content (for all apps) stored into a single topics/posts table for better searching and tighter integration of the forum and other apps is not going to be acted on, I'd like to make another suggestion in this area. As a user, I don't like the way View New Content is presented to the user. You have to click on the individual tabs for each app to see if there is new content for the content that the app manages. Obviously, the forum is probably the most frequently updated area, but since other areas, are less so frequently updated, I rarely think to click on these area tabs. This results in missed content. Why not? I'd like to see a fully functional Lo Fi skin, especially since it is the skin for us iPhone users. Is this limitation just because you haven't gotten around to writing such support to the Post form or is there a fundamental limitation here (I can't image why it can't be done).
