It would be absolutely exceptional if we were given a choice in the ACP to have a user's avatar be the global representation of that user instead of the current method which is having avatar and personal photos in parallel. I, along with many others from what I gather in various posts I've found, feel that having both separated is slightly confusing to the user and really doesn't give good representation to that user. Sure, it may work better in a business environment like you guys have here, but it doesn't work well with many of our forum setups and the way they have organically grown. I've been wondering why the IP.Board Calendar hasn't received an upgrade. Since I started using IP.Board, when an event is posted in the calendar, it still have the same generic display when events are displayed in the footer section on the Board Index. It would be nice if the displayed events on the Board Index would indicate what day they are being held on. For Example: Dec 12: Event 1, Event 2, Event 3, etc Dec 13: Event 1, Event 2, Event 3, etc Dec 14: Event 1, Event 2, Event 3, etc I just hate the generic display where it only lists the name of the event.

I'd like a setting to make queued topics/replies visible to the author of the topic/post in addition to the moderators/admins. I'm thinking of moderating all topics/replies on my forum for manual approval or automatic approval each night (which ever comes first). But, I find the current implementation lacking from the user/author viewpoint. Currently, a brief message is flashed that the post is being moderated and you are returned to the forum list. I would like for the author to be returned to viewing the queued topic/reply just like for a non-queued topic/reply (except with the skin indicating that the topic/reply is currently not visible to others until approved …

Can invision have the navigation menu as a application in invision? It would be nice to have nested menus. And in addition have different skins use different menu's. As some forums in my site i need different menu items then my main forums. Any idea if invision would consider this?

once you start a conversation with someone, it may get out of hand and you may need to forward or blind CC it to someone else. There is no way that I can see to do this. It would be nice if this option were available. Right now you have to just copy and paste it and send it on.

I've had trouble loading the previous upgrades to 3.0.x. So when you guys get it right I think I should say something about that too. upgrade from 3.0.4 to 3.0.5 went perfectly. Thanks for your hard work. G

Posted in feedback and been requesting since start of V3 for the posting of remote/ linked images function to be improved or reverted to how it used to work in v2.3.6 Obviously still being over looked as there is no improvement, i may be one voice in thousands but this is a vital part of my forum and widely used by my members. the resize function in v2.3.6 worked perfectly well but the developers changed the function with out any thought for customers who have in place active forums and have used there system for many years. in V2.3.6 i could have 3 or 4 images that fitted quite easily in the post message area and could adjust image size globally to suit my requireme…

I would like the ability to give permission to certain IP.Board applications to certain user groups. I am only planning on offering the IP.Chat application to subscribers. I can do via the IP.Chat settings, which allows you to set which user groups can access the chat. However, the "Chat" tab is visible to EVERYONE, and if a user without permission clicks on the link, they get an error message. I want this tab to be completely invisible to guests and everyone else who does not have access to use the app. There should a generic mechanism in place to allow you to specify which user groups can access each application. I discovered today that when I have selected "open links in a new window" in the admin - only external links in posts open in a new window. If I post links within my domain, they still open in the same window. So here's the deal. If I choose that I want links to open in a new window, I WANT THEM TO OPEN IN A NEW WINDOW! My staff and I would like to have a meeting in the chat room in which I will close the room off from the members. I would like to make sure the chat history is cleared before I open the chat back up to the members. How would I go around doing this? (clearing the chat history)

I am wonder if it is possible to somehow stop quote of media tag, that it instead, quote a person with the youtube link for example instead of the link between /media tags... It is annoying when 3 people quote and the video is posted 3 times more -.-

If someone is trying to upload a file bigger than 2MB, the file selection window closes and ....it happens nothing. In order to avoid bug reports about non-functioning board-uploads from the board members to the board-owner, i suggest to implement a little error message, which tells the user that the selected file(s) were too large.

Hello Invision Power Services staff. I want praise you. Your service (support, questions, etc...) is the best I've got ever. I just send you a ticket and I get an answer two-three minutes later.
