These are actually two suggestions. If these were already suggested, then I apologize: I noticed that sometimes while using the Skin Generator and generating a simple color combination that the main text and even the links (and hover effect) don't go well with the colors of the skin. Some are hard to see while others just don't blend in too well. So my suggestion is to maybe add the ability to also allow us to choose the colors of the main text and links. My other suggestion deals with the custom BG images of, let's say for example, .maintitle, .userlinks, .submenu, etc. by perhaps allow us to paste the 'Direct Link' to the background image somewhere in the Generator a…

I see that new private conversation - messenger system does not allow to archive the messages via email anymore. Why this feature it's been disabled? :blink: In second, how can I increase the max quota of message stored in the private message inbox? :(

I would like to suggest to move name in recent status update next to the photo/avatar image. At present it's something like this: - photo/avatar image - name - status Suggesting: - photo / avatar image - name - status. - add/show comments - time We can save one line of each status and in the end it will shrink the recent status update a bit and look more good. :)

I think a lot of people have issues actually choosing colours that work with a specific colour they have in mind, for that reason Adobe have Kuler. http://kuler.adobe.com/#create/fromacolor http://kuler.adobe.com/#create/fromanimage Kuler is a really good tool, especially when looking at colour schemes and using some of the specific colour rules. Also some images of nature make for the best choice of colour themes. How easy would it be to add something like this into the generator? If it is too much of a problem would IPS consider adding a link to it or something that offers the same functionality?

I find that when I use the Skin Generator that the row colors are either a murky greyish color or a too light for a dark skin color. I already figured out that strange skin colors don't work well together and that you need somewhat complimentary colors for it to even look decent. i would probably maybe consider this a bug but its maybe just something you've not gotten to yet or an oversight. But shouldn't the calendar match the colours of the skin rather than being black on a blue skin.

Just a quick suggestion. Adding another forum (in-between the Test Forum and Redirect Forum) , one with two or three sub-forums in, so we can see how the text and bullet icon looks. :) EDIT... I forgot the image...

Thanks for the improvements on the search in 3.1, however I think there is room for more. I initially made a bug report about one of them, but after realizing it was due to my browser's cache it quickly turned into feedback, so I'm heading off the "post in the feedback forum" with a little preemptive topic here :D 1. I see post snippets have gone in search results -- now we are forced to use the topic preview to get the snippet. While topic preview is nice in the forum view, I think it's counter productive in search results, where the entire point of being there is finding a post. This has probably been brought up before but: I love the notification thing, but the way it works currently is annoying. Especially when someone quotes your post and you have to view the notification to get to their post. I think that what ever module is using the notification should be able to make the main button go to that post and automatically make it read (and possibly even delete it). I'm basically looking for a 1 click way of getting to what ever the notification is talking about. The message itself really isn't that important. You only need it if you're referring to a notification later, which is going to be rare.

It's not actually possible to search for a member at all without going through the advanced search form. ...is I can't use Google to search for stuff. I really wish IPS reconsider showing thread content to guests/search engines because I'm fairly sure most of what I want to know will have been asked before in the P2P forums (lets face it, no forum search is a match for Google). Not only would it be 10 times quicker for customers, but it would help staff by not having to deal with so many repeated questions.

Currently there is an option to do tile or fixed. What about both? Look at my profile. The image is actually quite small and you're supposed to tile it, but I can't make it fixed. Also (and I'm not sure if this is a bug or not) the pagination for comments doesn't appear inside the profile box so it's kind of hard to read. Same thing goes for the copyright area at the bottom. Shouldn't it have a semi transparent box as well? I'm also thinking the opacity needs to be a tad less so the text is a little easier to read. Hi, in 3.0.5 and probarbly in 3.1.0 you are taken back to the report center overview when marking a report as "Under review". This is not very user-friendly in our opinion. Because when you mark a report as "Under review" you (probarbly) want to stay in the report so you actually can continue reviewing it. :) At some times we often have 20 + active reports in our report center, and thats makes it very annoying to have to go back to the report you just marked before you are going to continue working on it.

As a UI Web developer myself, i have to say that IPB is really in a place by itself when it comes to looks and user friendly interface. Still, i've looked around 3.1 BETA (yes i know it's a BETA...) and found that there are places the UI could improve... like the profile page. I found it to be inconsistent and a bit messy when it comes to displaying certain layouts of information. For example, the 'Friends' and 'Comments' section appear an all the tabs.. and the 'Recent status Update' , in my opinion, takes too much place. I have a question about the new notification system. By default it seems you are notified by personal conversation when someone sends you a personal conversation. Does this mean that a new personal conversation is created to notify me of the personal conversation? Or am I completely misunderstanding what a "Personal Conversation" notification is? And if it does make a new personal conversation, wouldn't I get a notification of the notification? Seems to me like in most cases being notified by personal conversation is a bit useless, especially when all the inline notifications are saved anyway.
