How many beta releases is planned for the Subscription Manager? Is this a project that will take a week, a month, or 5 months to complete? Can I get some sort of deadline. It doesn't have to be accurate. I just want a ballpark area. I waited for the subscription manager this whole time since 2008 when a Q4 release was estimated. I waited to see it in beta releases, and in the RC's but didn't turn up. So I'm sure you will understand why I am a bit frustrated for this long delay. Nothing personal here. I would just like an honest estimate as would many of your paid customers.

Not sure if anyone has suggested this or not, but I think this would make a great option for the blogs.

I believe, all worked fine yesterday. Today, when I click on "Today's active content", or "View new content", it gives me TWO topics from yesterday. What happened?

It'd be awesome if there was an additional button on inline notifications that took you to the content in question. For example, a button that goes to the post that quoted your post, a button that goes to the status update, a button that goes to the file submission, a button that goes to the topic/forum subscription, etc. rather than going to the notification itself.

I'm not particularly happy with how I've just been treated by Tech support. I recently contacted them about a known problem with the Payment methods not showing up the latest Subsciption Manager. I am yet to upgrade to IPB3, and I have only just started testing and found this error. After researching a bit I have found that this is not an isolated problem but I could not find any fix for it. So I put in a ticket only to be told that the problem has been documented and a fix has been posted for it, but they refuse to give me the solution because I must pay for yearly tech support in order to receive this. I absolutely refuse to pay for this, since 1) the problem is …

Just installed IP.Chat to check it out and was really confused with the absence of global chat window. I use IP.Shoutbox right now and it has global chat window which can be shown on all or selected pages. Very, very nice feature. I really thought that IP.Chat has the same, but didn't find it. Am I missing something or there's no global chat window (hook)? Will you consider adding it in the closest update?

Here's another idea about the chat. Sometimes when i'm surfing from the forum to the blog and vice-versa, I don't have any idea if someone has entered the chat. Sometimes, i see someone who i really want it to chat with, but it's too late and the user has logged-off from the chat. It would be great if there is some sort of notification that pops up. Here's a mockup of what it could be:

Add a little "posted in this topic" icon when you post in a thread/topic where it puts a little arrow on top of the icon so it signifies that you posted in that topic at a quick glance.

I see that several bugs were fixed in 3.1.0 Beta 1... the most annoying is that problem on View New Content, which is already fixed. Any ETA for update this board ?

So I have a dark forum skin. I will not be honest they are rare! One thing that bugs me is on the status update hook, the input box. I just tested it on this board 3.1.0 Beta 1and I am sad to see it is the same. I thought someone reported this as a bug, but I am not certain. So here is the suggestion thread! Here is the html code by default on sidebar status update hook <input type="text" style="width: 80%; color: gray; padding: 2px;" id="statusUpdate"> I can go in the ACP > Look & Feel and edit color:gray. That is awesome!! I can change it to a bright white to blend in with my skin Now when you click in the input box this code changes to this: <…

In the Profile Customization I think that it would be fantastic if the color field had a color picker when you click on the color thing and perhaps changes to the hex color immediately instead of on page load? Okay. FANTASTIC btw! I <3333 this company. It was a delightful surprise to wake up to this morning. You guys made my day!

It's been suggested to have a count of new items next to each tab on the view new content screen, so users would know to click on those and not the ones that don't have a count, or have a count of 0. This has been shot down due to the resource limitations it would incur, but what if you just used the itemMarking class to pull the last read item and compare that to the last updated item in the app (could be cached as well) and if it's newer then simply put 'NEW' next to the tab, rather than a count. That way users at least know there's some new content to see, and it's not nearly as resource intensive (might not even involve any additional queries) as counting new content …

Great tool :) but there could be some statistics with which webpages our links were shared. Yes and another, I don't know about ACP settings but I believe that there is possibility to check which topics in which forums we can share through this service. We couldn't share topics in private forums.

We seem to have an overload on status updates. LOL It would be nice to be able to specify (either as admin or as users (ideally both)) to only display directly inputted ones, or also show facebook or twitter or show all of them.

Simple, I don't like the " Community Forum Software by IP.Board 3.1.0 Beta 1 " or is that just for BETA.

When quoting someone in another post, so that it includes the snapback and persons name and such, it'd be nice if the view of the post/quote had a link on the members name to take you to their profile. I would think it would be best to include their member ID, in case they change their display name.

Perhaps it is an idea to put a link to a profile in the status update notification. This will engage a (small) discussion on the status update feature and people are a bit to lazy to search a profile whenever its updated

In the Status updates, rename the phrase "Add / Show comments (1)" to "Add / Show 1 comments". Or even better, just write "Show 1 comments". Whenever you like a status update that much that you want to engage - write a comment - you are interested in seeing what other have written. So you click on "Show 1 comments" anyway.

One nice feature in vBulletin was that the server load figure was shown in the ACP. I've not been able to see such information within IP.Board - does it exist anywhere or is there a Mod which will display it?
