Better notification when someone has log in the chat

Here's another idea about the chat. Sometimes when i'm surfing from the forum to the blog and vice-versa, I don't have any idea if someone has entered the chat. Sometimes, i see someone who i really want it to chat with, but it's too late and the user has logged-off from the chat. It would be great if there is some sort of notification that pops up.
