I think the Facebook connect functionality could be further improved if it was possible for you guys to remove the last step i.e. "Create Account". Most users forget to do it so it causes a lot of accounts that I have to manually approve. Alternatively the process could be more easily explained through the registration process.

First I want to say I am enjoying a lot of IPB 3.2.0. I just wanted to give a suggestion regarding the estetic. I think there are parts that are oversimplifying and that blows away the look of the forum, for example, in the statistics of forum. I always loved the way it was shown who was online, birthdays and the threads and posts totals forum in IPB 2.3.x, but this has been changing and increasingly it less appealing and easy to read. XenForo is doing it but Invision Power isn't doing it. My feature request is for microdata for breadcrumbs in IP.Board. (And while that's being implemented you could also add other microdata to our pages.) I tested XenForo thread pages at http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/richsnippets and they're all correct :) my IP.Board thread pages aren't. Any questions?

Hi there, I am trying to use IP.SEO via Cron to produce a Sitemap, but despite setting the "Number of Topics" to 50,000 it will only add 10,000. When running via Cron, do the settings from the AdminCP take effect? Or do I need to edit a file somewhere? Thanks

Not sure if this has ever been brought up, however, the formatting in the member list is all out of whack, very likely a browser issue, however, thought I would bring it up. At work we use IE7, I will have to check if it is the same on IE8 as well as the other browsers.

It's impressive how the new ipb 3.2 graphics is modern, elegant and cool! When I'm back ho to the old ipb 3.1.4 from ipb 3.2 seems to take a step back in time. I believe ipb 3.2 to be a much greater step from ipb 3.1.x than ipb 3.0 was from ipb 2.3.6 Congratulations to all the staff of IPS for their outstanding work done :thumbsup:

This should not happen: I think that instead, if a member has checked to be notified for new replies and when their posts are quoted, quotes should take priority over replies, but only one notification should be issued. We know that if my post was quoted, there must be a new reply. :)

vBulletin has just released a great looking mobile app/feature and i would love to see something like this for Invision. Now the price tage of $199 is a bit ridicules i do not think it would be worth that to me but i wouldnt mind paying a bit for a decent app that could be made just for our own forums instead of going thru something like tappatalk etc Just throwing out some suggestions and looking forward to seeing some new mobile features :D

Hello, I've checked the 3.2 preview, but i didn't found the "Today's active content" link. In my board, we use a lot that feature. "View New Content", its only for the "New" contente, and i want all the contente, not just the new.

I was looking through my site's Google Webmaster Tools pages and I noticed that one of the most common link keywords was "Mark Board as Read". I have selected to treat bots as guests, and there's no reason for guests to have that link in the footer, right? My suggestion is to hide that link from the footer for guests (or maybe just from bots).

I think we should have more customizable profiles. Instead of just letting us add a background image or color, let us edit the colors of the tables and bits within the profiles themselves. Kinda like what vBulletin 3.7 and 3.8 have for their profile customization. It gives the users a little bit more variety and originality to their profiles. :) I'd like to see profile customization expanded upon if not in 3.2 then in a future IPB version, perhaps 3.3 or 4.0 :)

Does IP.Board's Lost Password feature still use the term "instigated" a couple times in the default email? Ability to search for unanswered posts

Hi, I use my forum for support and with my previous installation of phpbb I had a feature to search for unanswered posts which proved extremely useful. After some experimentation I have not been able to achieve the same result with my invision board. Being able to find messages with 0 replies quickly is important so if this is something you could add in the future I would be grateful!

I'm sure this has been brought to your attention before, but something needs to change with the way language packs get imported and exported. The way it works right now, the language pack gets saved out as a single .xml.gz file. That's fine for exporting, but trying to re-import that back in will often time out a lot of sites. If your language is a multi-byte one, the problem is even worse. As a moderator of the Marketplace, I frequently have to check into reports of broken language packs because people can't get them imported. The problems are not with the language packs themselves, their sites just can't do all the work of parsing the content of the .xml.gz file, …

Not sure if this has been suggested but there needs to be more weighing factors: 1. Weighing per forum (this can be an advanced tool that people can chose to use) - we all know that there are forums that are more important on your site compared to others. Why not tell search engines which ones those are? 2. Weighing heavier for hot threads (need I explain?) 3. Exclude forums from sitemap (another advanced feature?) The whole point on the sitemap is to tell search engine spiders what is more important...there is not enough options in the current package to do this successfully IMHO.

curious why the system scheduler reflects all time as GMT - is it possible that this could be changed in 3.2 so that when looking at the scheduler it reflects your server timezone?

I like the idea of profile tags. Let users choose a predefined amount of tags for their own profile. This way uses are able to search profiles using tags. (: This feature has been implemented into the joindiaspora social software and it is convenient.

I would like to see more ability to share forums/threads/post with other users on the forums. there are plenty of tools to share stuff externally to facebook, twitter, diggm reddit, etc. but there are no tools to post threads on forum links easily on other users wall/profiles within IPBoard.
