Hey guys. For some reason the IPS Forum skin doesn't fully load for me. :blink: " alt="" class="ipsImage" width="1000" height="562"> Any idea's? I've tried refreshing multiple times with no luck, same thing happens on Firefox, IE8 (IE9 is bad with GTA IV so I have only IE v8), Safari AND Chrome). (I am using Chrome.)

In my forums chatroom, I saw someone typing with an offwhite background and in italics. In the source for my forums chatroom, I found .chat-me { font-style: italic; background-color: #e2f3e2; } The colours match up and the font is italic, so I'm assuming that this is what this person did. My question is, what is .chat-me and how is it used in the chatroom? Any help is appreciated.

This extends: Hello guys! I have some requests. 1 - Can you please give forum admins the possibility to simplify the board? I would like to shutdown a lot of feature on the forum and that's not possible. Modularize the board somehow because it's too high tech. For example, I want to hide some fields from the profile. by mistake i went to my site NOT logged, to the "my content" url and saw all my suscribed threads... i changed the 1 for another member ID and i saw his suscribed threads.... this should be private, right? SITE.COM/index.php?app=core&module=search&do=user_activity&mid=1 yet i did not saw anything from private forums :(

There's been much talk about the anticipated IP.Board 3.2's upgrade, it's new features, design, etc. My suggestion, however, is for these main support forums. It would be nice (and convenient) if a new support Forum (or sub-forum) section somewhere in the Skinning and Design dedicated mainly for skin support for the new 3.2 version would be added after the upgrade. Since the new skin design will be much different and cleaner than the current 3.1.4 design, it will make it easier for everyone to find skinning support topics for the new version and not get them all mixed up with the old 3.1.4 (and older) support topics. First I have to click to select, then click to ok the dialogue box then click delete on another page that asks for confirmation. Can this be reduced, it's worse than Windows Vista!

Small suggestion. Add an additional "Save & Close" button to the bottom of the Permission Matrix pop-up when setting permissions for individual modules. Some boards have more than 10 permissions sets, so adding one at the bottom would prevent admins from having to scroll back up to save. Makes it easier. Etc. etc.

Hello Recently, IPS has introduced marketplace APIs where paid file submitters can get a list of who have purchased their files along with their email addresses. While I really love the marketplace idea because I don't have to register and pass my information to potentially less secure websites everytime I wanna purchase something, but with features always come the possibility of abuse. I just don't get why you guys wanna give our emails to third parties? Emails are supposed to be private and we haven't really given you permission to do so. Besides, how is that gonna benefit the developers? What's in it for them? Wouldn't you think that they might try to contact the p…

IP.Board currently can't do the following: Let's say you have 10 different user groups and each has access to forum X. 2 members are misbehaving in forum X and you want to disallow them access. The only way to do this is to move them to a special group. However, this isn't really economical / feasible / recommended. It can get complicated if more forums are to be restricted. For example, member 1 is disallowed into forum X and forum Y and member 2 is disallowed access to forum Z. The best way to do this is to have selective "forum banning" per member. This would be available after clicking on "edit member"

Was looking at the developement log but didn't find the info, so, here's the question: will 3.2.0 introduce Calendar Event notifications? I think it would be cool if users could choose to receive either inline notification or a PM for the events they decided to follow (few days in advance, ie. before the day of the event). The way it is right now, the event reminder is shown at the bottom of board index which is ok. but I suppose, it's also possible to kinda miss it and not see it in time.

I think it would be a great idea to add the Facebook "F" with a link to a member's profile in the actual board member list - similar to the way it's displayed now in the member's list for the Admin CP. Makes it mighty handy to connect with folks.

IPS Company and Marketplace Blogs should be split up so people can "watch" or "like" the thread they want and not both. As I want to get IPS company news and not markplace information. Maybe put them in different forums.

I'm sure it's been suggested but since multiple of my members are asking for it, I thought I should lay down my thoughts. The current friends system is just....useless...boring...no fun. A follow system similar to that of twitter, to be able to see what the people you are following are up to, is something users want and are use to. Being able to see your followed friends activity is also like Facebook. It's in our nature to want to know what people are up to and I see this as a potential system to increase user activity. Not only would it help create more activity in threads and thread discoveries, it would also give users a sense of popularity, pride and prestig…

Is there a way, or somebody else before me requested this option: set to a month the forthcoming birthday (until the board is almost new), instead of 24H? So, all we should know in advance when someone has his/her birthdate. It should be nice to have this set on admin cp, and in stats, on mouse over, see the exact birth date. I have two suggestions for future versions of IPB. The first is to add an option into the Topic Multi-Moderation system that allows us to unsubscribe people to a topic. For example if we close a topic, and have no intention of reopening it, then it would be handy to unsubscribe everyone to it as well. Also would it be possible to change, or make a ACP setting, so that when you open or close a topic it brings you back to the topic you were working on rather than the forum index for that topic. That can be handy, especially when opening a topic. Thanks

I wish to add specific meta tags per board on my forum. Is this possible? In the URL field (where you would add /gallery/ and etc.), how do I add a forum section? Like for example... I have a forum at www.mydomain.com/forum/7-forum-news-support/ (that is how mine are setup but my forum is on the root not in a subdirectory /forum/ as it looks). Any help would be absolutely wonderful :)
