So, the gallery is one of my favorite parts of the IPS Community suite, but I feel that it's just not executed very well, at least on the front end, so I figured I'd come here and offer a quick suggestion on the light box for a more general and easier browsing experience that I feel should come standard out of the box for IPS 4.0 (basically, just replace the lightbox you're currently using) So, when I upload an image and want to take a look at it, you'll see this:http://prntscr.com/5hbdh2 -- From this screen, you can kind of see a little detail, or what the perspective of the image is, it's a web design, but can you really take a good look at the web design? Currently, the Flag as Spammer option will appear for all accounts if it is enabled and there is no setting for it. However, my question is: Why? After all... Spammers are the ones that show their intentions immediately. They sign up and they spam. It's not like an actual member suddenly turns into a spam bot or a human spammer. Assuming "Spam" is intended as... well.. random advertisements and external links that have nothing to do with the forum. Is this what the Flag as spammer option is intended for, right? I installed this on a beta environment. I was going to start working on a theme for my site while it is in beta that way when the official one comes out, I'll be somewhat ready and there will be less downtime. http://beta.helpmecode.club/ I can't login. I created the user with my email address and a password and it isn't letting me login with the information I had. It simply refreshes the page. Any ideas? EDIT: I can login to the admin dashboard but when I do, I'm still not logged into the front-end. 0.0 I'm using the latest version of chrome with minimal extensions (lastpass and toomanytabs)

Is there a feature to tag all uploaded pictures at once with the same tags? I looked around while uploading the pictures to the gallery but I couldnt find an option for this. If theres none: Would be nice to see this in the final version!

I went to prepay my license for another six months a couple of days ago(it expires in Feb). Only to realize, I cannot do any such thing through your store interface, though I *used* to be able to. Please add this back? I decided to top off credit and leave it this time(after a full hour trying to locate a button I *know* was once there), but would very much appreciate the ability to manually extend my license before renewal time without cancelling it. Yes, it is likely unusual to see this, but for criminy, take my money already?

Yeah, I know there isn't an official ETA and that IPS Inc. doesn't want to commit to one. But is there any better information than "Q2 of 2014" (although I think this was later revised to just 2014, which is over in a week). The beta doesn't seem worth testing (for us) yet since both Nexus and Content aren't available, which is a majority of what our current site runs and where the compatibility issues will probably arise. I figured I'd reactivate the license when 4.0 came out, but now I've been sitting around with an expired version for a good six months. We want to make the migration ASAP but I'm going to be too busy to handle a migration like that in Q2 of 2015. If…

Hi, In v3.4.7 we had an option in "CPU Saving & Optimization" called "Cut off for active user display [in minutes]" Now, in v4 that option has dissapeared and this appears in an Application called "Online user list", but it doesn't indicate the minutes and I suppose must be last 30 minutes... for change this to 60 minutes must I create a new "Application" for 60 minutes ? Thanks

I upgraded another 3.4.7 today. I installed all addons (on 3.4.7 and IPS 4 (beta 4b). Problem: The Tabs in the Menu are missing. I just get Forums and Gallery. Apps installed fine (in ACP, everything is working fine), Permissions are ok. I am able to use the apps by directly calling them and i see them in other menus (eg. CREATE -> Blogentry), i just miss "Blogs" "Pages" "Downloads" and so on in the menubar. Any ideas? I used the default theme in 3.4.7 and never changed something except logos and icons on that site - same for IPS4. BTW: I added some custom menus in 3.4.7 using the menumanager of IPC... They are still there, Permssions: ALL GROUPS... But they are a…

It would be great to have the option of uploading images to a specific gallery from a db entry form. Ideally what I would like to do is to have gallery options integrated into the pages upload. If as a part of a record, users could upload X number of images to a specific gallery album that would be linked to in the db record.

Hi, In the Client Centre, in particular when viewing lists of invoices (paid etc.) but also when looking at an actual Invoice, please could you add the package/community name to the page? The notes facility is helpful Its currently time consuming and confusing when looking at the list of paid invoices to work out which refers to which community, when as a reseller you want to catch up with your invoicing to your customers! If you added the name of the community to which the invoice refers (see example screen shots), it would be much simpler to keep track at a glance. Just noticed this when replying to another thread. I wanted to tag @Charles and I typed it quickly, as he has a nice and easy to remember user name. I therefore didn't wait for the drop down mention box to load and I kept typing. I clicked submit and noticed his name hadn't change to a link/mention. So is it necessary at the moment to have to click a name in the drop-down? Any chance the final version if v4 can pick up @ mentions and convert them anyway - eg. without waiting for the drop-down box to load and having to expressly click on a user name?

Hay, I am new to I.P.B i own forum with around 1500 users and around 14k posts its a active forum and grown well i am using PBPBB. I am going to create a new forum and migrate the data over. I have the 2 questions - Should i build in now in 3. or should i wait for 4.0. I do not want to spend months moving and creating a custom design then having to re do on 4.0I want to have a front end website for the forum. I see 2 options use the content mod (Not really liking the design) or to use some blog software for the front end.Any tips are helpful Thanks
