hello, i love the new IPS4 but without nice looking design sometime that can be an issue for many webmaster one thing i noticed with most design for the IPB v 3.x the lack of new modern design i'm just asking if any designer here want or will work on new modern design with landing pages for ip.pagesnew layout or more than one for the forums category,listing,topic and post here one example of beautiful and simple design for a landing page http://htmlcoder.me/preview/worthy/v.1.0/ for others what do you think about web or forum design so designer here can collect data and start building something awesome for IPS4 as they usually do

See attached screen shot On Nginx server we have password protected the ACP but not with .htaccess We have also protected against malicious php uploads etc It would be good to have a dismiss - I have done this button so these are no longer flagged up In my humble opinion......

Hello Invision Power, currently I am working on a stock footage shop (based on Downloads and Commerce). If a user wants to buy multiple files, he/she has to checkout for each and every file. I really would like to have a Shopping Cart for Downloads, like we know it from the IP Commerce Store. Greets, MrJQuery.

Noticed some inactive users have been annoyed by new content e-mail notifications from board, I have disabled it on Members > Notifications (switched from e-mail to notifications), but seems that some are still getting it. Do I also need to disable "notifications" method, or does it just refer to notifications on board?

If you were using the FURL system in 3.3 (I skipped 3.4 and went straight to 4.0) you will need to update the htaccess (or httpd.conf if you put it there) with the new one offered by the 4.0 ACP. If you don't use the newer version, your RSS feeds are broken. Just a heads up.

My User (Administrator) can not access any post, I can access the categories, create a new topic, but does not access any. I had this same problem in RC2, I deleted the old User and created a new one, however after upgrading to the RC3 is the same problem. The other users can normally access, including the admin User. message that appears when I try to access: DEV

Hello everyone, hope you are all doing well today. I have a fresh install of IPS 4, things seem to be going great however I am having an issue with admin/moderator notifications. I get notifications of new sign ups, but I do not get any notifications of new posts/topics I have followed the steps that I have found in other posts, unfortunately though, what I read does not match what is in my admin. Is this a bug that needs to be fixed or am I missing something? Thank you

I've always had a 'use_xcache' line in my conf_global.php file to instruct use of xcache. Now this has settings via ACP, can this line be removed from conf_global.php?

A vital trust bond between me and my membership is my guarantee of privacy. We share pictures of our families, kids, whatever, and don't generally want our faces known in the real world. After upgrading to IPB 4 I'm horrified to see all these images attached to posts are now visible to guests. The attached images appear to have been converted to links pointing directly to the file in the uploads directory. The permissions to prevent guests from downloading attachments are still correct but now the images are publicly visible. I urgently need to remedy this but I can find no setting in ACP.

The form helper "stack" is pretty great, however it doesn't look like I can provide options to the form that the stack is using. Can an additional option for the Stack helper be added to pass onto the form that is being used? And while I'm at it, for "KeyValue" is there a simple way to set the "Key" and "Value" labels to my own strings? Cheers.

Today I upgraded my forum from 3.4.6 to 3.4.7 to 4.00 RC3. All was well between each upgrade. RC3 upgrade asked me to convert a few tables to UTF8, which was successful. Upgrade showed no errors too. However now, I'm unable to login. Only the top level URLs work. http://forum.beaglefu.com/ Any help is apprecaited. Thanks!
