In My Activity >> All Activity you remove line breaks and white space so the teaser is nice and condense. However in the rest of My Activity and in the regular search you do not and it looks bloated. Can you apply this to all searches? It would make it nice and tidy and make finding what you are looking for much easier. Thanks!

My Activity >> Topics, I get a list of topics. Search >> Topics, I get a list with a paragraph teaser. Is there any way to remove that teaser so it is a condensed list like the other? Thank you!

The Items filter could be confused for the Items content type, and not viewed as universal. I think in Filters, it should be called Content, since that is what it states at the header and link to it. "Only content I have not read," etc.

Example: ( custom blocks » content tab) when you are tweaking the code and you click save, jump over another browser tab refresh the page on find out you messed up or didn't get the desired results go back to previous browser tab then have to pick the block from the list, then click the sub tab to edit content code Save and Exit and Save The default for a Save button will save the content and stay not on the page perhaps a nice little ajax popover indicating save worked.Another button with Save and Exit that commits the changes and returns you to the parent page, for the guru's that never make a mistake. this would be preferred over current Save only button or the …

I have never been a follower to anyone except for when I was in the military and I had no choice. I don't follow and I don't expect to be followed either... I have a Great Dis-Liking to Cults and Cultist views. Now Friends I can deal with. Friends can be more personable to address over a following. Invision Power was here long before Facebook or Twitter. I guess in a sense, a Leader in community substance, growth and understanding. So my question is why are we following where we were a community that lead and got these others to follow?

In My Activity (Content), in 3.4, if I got to Topics it shows my activity in topics I created and others' topics. In 4.0 it just lists my topics. So how do we find topics we posted in?? Viewing by post is not effective, you may have posted 30 times in a topic so you'll see 30 listings instead of one (the topic), and it makes finding topics hard. I can see why you may have removed it in Topics, if you just want to list our own, but then please let us "view" the posts "as topics." This is vital. I believe it may have been overlooked. Thanks!

Hello All, This is a feature request :-) or maybe a coder could help us out. We are using the Multi-Moderatations for fast posting pre-defined answers to our customers, example quick-fixes, tutorals for assistance etc. When our staff uses this Mult-Mod, the message is posted correctly, however when the member replies back to this post, the staff will not be notified as Multi-Moderatations posts does not automatic follow a post (and like this the staff don't gets their e-mail notification) Its not a bug, and confirmed by Stuart: So as advise of Stuart, my post here... i have ips4 installed at a test domain and all the url styling is totally changed ....... when i Upgrade later when ips 4 is final ... the old url style and everything will be transfered as well ? Or how I get it? somebody has allready tried maybe? I have nearly all SEO friendly urls of my page in google Index, bing, ... And i do not want to lose anything here! thanks for Feedback

I have noticed a couple of important items I'd like to discuss. Let's begin with the more superficial and build to areas of greater concern. There still is an inconsistency in the way URLs appear in IPS 4. Forums puts the post number on the left. Pages puts it on the right. One consistent application across the Suite is ideal and moving them around is not. So let's assume I can play with the FURLs and move them left or right. In forums all topics appear as forums/topic/1234-title-here/ pages/title-here-r1234 (sample Pages URL)I would prefer forums/t1234-topic-title-here or better that it looks exactly like the Pages URL with numbers on right with a single letter identif…

What I mean is why is it selectable in the theme Left/Right? We have this awesome page building drag and drop block system, why isn't there just two side bars in the pages template? Use the ones you want where you want? Is there a technical reason?

We utilize many image gallery, but version 4 default functions are over. Here two functions ideas that would be useful. - Added a "new" bandage over of less than seven days pictures - Added the last module creates albums - RSS on new albums created - Or even can be to do as downloads post a topic when an album is created. That idea but for;-) If you IPS team made a great job !!!.

I like the new "staff" page that shows the moderators / admins and from the APC you can configure the presentation with Groups, and various grids or lists for each section. I would like to see something like this for sites who have advertisers some means to generate a page similar to include each "active" advertisers ads and or perhaps a more detailed profile description, images, offers, and outward links. Not all advertisers are necessarily members, if they are perhaps a sub page that lists all the members of the advertisers - perhaps based on domain name or group? additionally perhaps for the "advertiser" who visits this profile page the "stats" will be there front and…

Any hints on where to put tracking code other than Google Analytics. I use Improvely to track signup conversions and would like to know where to insert the conversion code on successful signup (I don't need it for the whole site, just success)? HI Guys, Not sure if this is the right forum to post feedback about your software, but whenever I view the installed forum through Firefox the headings are displayed "forums_forum_11", but in Internet Explorer everything is working and appearing correctly. I've attached a screenshot between the two browsers. I've performed the tests with permissions, server requirements. I also checked the log files and could not find anything wrong. Could someone tell me what could be the possible cause for this or point me in the right direction. Cheers, Simon

I upgraded my site today from 3.4.7 to 4.0 RC3 and my first impression is that the site became slower, and the difference is really noticeable. How well is your site running after the upgrade, compared to the previous version? Please share your experience!

The 'Contact Us' pane at the bottom of the page allows any visitor to the site to send emails without spam filtering to admin email boxes. Not seeing any settings for restricting this to user classes, or using CAPTCHA to eliminate problem people.

In some areas you drag and drop and you're done. Others, it's save and done. For example, I can click the "Notify me of Replies" button on the bottom of this post and it turns green and you're done. You try to do that in the Notifications Settings area and you think you're done - but you probably didn't realize you need to click the "Save" button at the bottom (below the fold) or else you lose all the settings you changed. Drag and drop features in Pages are cool. But in the theme area you have to save changes that you've made or they are lost, which makes sense so that anything you mess up won't be saved. Try to do the same with Page Builder dragging and dropping blocks …

I haven't used this type of forum before, so added one to my forum and I like the concept... but it seems harder to get my users to work out how it's supposed to be used (or at least how I'd like it to be used for my forum). Ideally, I don't want them to be able to quote anyone else in the thread because I want each post to be individual and not part of a conversation. Also I don't want the reputation system as the Vote Up/Down buttons on the left should take priority in this. Is there any degree of customisation I can do to this without resorting beyond the provided tools? Am I the only one who would prefer this or do others have better results with the system, and if so…

so some applications that are installed the ownership and group are "nobody" this means that I can't simply uninstall and delete the app. I can't even open my FTP and delete the app because it gives me permissions error. The only way i know is to SSH into the server to do a sudo RM command of the offending files. - Fortunately I have a dedicated server with root access - however I imagine this may not be the case for other hosting deployments. What hex must be done so that any directory file created / uncompress installed / inherits the sites ownership permissions?

Hello, Yesterday, I upgraded from 3.4.6 to RC4 successfully I created 1 new category and 2 new forums Strange thing, when I create a topic in theses forums, a mail is sent to the admins and the moderators I checked a lot of things, followers of the news forums, followers of the topic starter... can't find why these mails are sent... can you help me please ?
