Is there a button or way to clear the contents of the editor? I try backspace but it won't remove certain things like quotes unless you click that red arrow at the top to have everything move down a line and then highlight and backspace.

Can we get a button to clear contents please? Or am I not seeing it?

I don't think CKEDITOR has a plugin that does that - I'm going to look into writing one up and possibly submitting it to the ckeditor plugin site.

Yeah, I've got a proof-of-concept plugin done up and working. I'm basing it off the already existing 'selectall' plugin that exists for CKEDITOR.

Need to ensure if works cross-browser before I submit it to the plugin site.

BTW: Ctrl+A -> Delete works too.
