Is it possible to get it so the latest reply moves the topic back to the top as you can see the topic "Coupon" has just been replied to but its still 3rd? I don't want to use the latest post block as I don't like the layout and the fact it shows full blown photos at the top of the forum when I enabled it. I'd just like there to be an option which would order the topics in the order of last reply. Many thanks

I use Nexus in 3.4.7 for the add parts (and only that) this tool is simple and permit in one form to insert configure the behaviour of adds. for exemple the location via this simple menu were you have just to hi light your choice and that's all. (bellow 3.4.7 ip.nexus add locations menu) in 4.0 after migrating i discovered that the systems have "saved" my previous location but like the systems is more complexe i have to manually insert in each template specific code to do the same thing... WTF ? and more on the topic now we have to manually choose one location so if basically i want to do the same thing as previous i have to specify the Define your own location, know…

I've installed a new IPS 4 site, created a couple of new forums to try them out, even created a custom theme. I figured I'd leave overall first impressions since I think they are helpful as to what feels intuitive and not intuitive -- what it would be like to a new user (even though I'm not new at all.) Overall, there is a great deal to be impressed about IPS 4 which should not be taken away from constructive comments, all which are just IMHO. Control Panel - Clean but Inefficient. I expect the submenu to scroll beyond the readable area with Calendar and Blogs being pushed off the screen. If the Admin is going to be vertical, I'd prefer it appear the same way the old vBul…

Hello. I think, that Downloads and Blogs statistics in widgets on Dashboard is a bad idea. What I can do, if I need to see the statistics, but i'm from phone? I need go to dashboard, add widget, read the data and close widget. Maybe it is long path? And all logs are "scattered" in ACP. System and Error logs in "Support", E-mail error log in E-Mail settings, and etc... I suggest to create one page in ACP with all statistc and logs. Same as in IPB3. It will be more usable. Thank you. P.s. And sorry, maybe my English not good... But I believe that you understood my idea.

The section on the left for the given users Recent Entries.. it would be better to have the title truncated and add an … (ellipsis) instead of letting the title wrap. It makes it look like more entries there then there are, plus at some point someone will come across unfortunate wrapping of a word which could be amusing or leave real bad impression Would look better.

When Editing theme Site logos etc. the option to remove the logo is this when you check it it turns green or you have to turn it on do delete it? - (kind of counter intuitive) In other areas like Advertisements or when deleting images its a trash can - much better from the user experience. Then back in Community Enhancements the option is just a toggle button that are similar (only 3 characters difference ) and require reading. and in this case the aforementioned on / off slider would be appropriate as it lends to provide quick visual indication as to the state of these settings.

So someone has just posted a spam topic on my site: Obviously it's no big deal and got taken care of within seconds, but the problem is, this looks like an automated post and I have multiple security measures for registrations, including a Q&A challenge which can only be answered by people genuinely interested in my forum without research. Now you may say that a real person promoting their site could do that, but this has never happened in 3 years of running IPS 3.x, and the first time it did was days after I upgraded to IPS 4. It's concerning that saving an edit with a blank form box is allowed! We already have a system that prevents posting with a blank form box, but saving a blank edit is allowed? what? This makes no sense. Why can't we use the same blank post prevention logic on edit saves that we use for the original post? I can think of a great use case where the ability to save blanks would be abused on a regular basis. Suppose someone makes a post in hast, anger, or ignorance and changes their mind. (This happens a lot). They will then edit their post, and now have the option to simply delete everything and save an empty post. I shouldn't have to moderate this when this can be solved …

Hi I'm trying to display an inline message to the user when a piece of content is moved. However, it does not display. This is because the inline message is being removed from the session variable when the \IPS\Output instance is accessed on the next page load, but in the case of content moving, the next page load results in a page redirect back to the forum, in which case the inline message has been removed and is lost. Can't we just unset the $_SESSION[ 'inlineMessage' ] variable from the sendOutput() method when we know it's not a json response or a redirect so that messages actually get preserved until the next actual page view? Hello there,I would like to use the RSS feed of my ips website for gallery streaming to my second website - works fine so fare - but i have only 20 items in the RSS feed from the IPS Gallery - where i can change this to an higher number of items in the RSS feed? IPS support told me that they changed this in IPS 4 to only 10 items anymore ! Has anyone gone to like a PM? And realized, "Oh, this is a PM not a post." I have, and I just wondered if it would be a good feature. It wouldn't count as public Likes but would send a notification. A lot of times the conversation has ended but you want to "Like" what they said instead of replying "got it, okay, cool..." whatever. Just a thought.

If I go to Marketplace there is no quick access to information of what I bought, how many days I have left, am I'm for renew. Were can I download it quickly at and all. I have to search for the product again and than download after I go in to it. Would't it be better to have a quick front end link to all the information about what a user just bought for themselves and make it much easy for people to access there files and such? If there is a way it may be a good to bring it to the front end so I user can just click on it and go to where they need to go. A easy interface page with the information the buyer wants to know and not have to search.

Please add All Content to the top, you have to select each content type to find what you are following, one list would be awesome. Right now, it reverts to Files upon revisit which is not optimal either.

Use the name Lindy for example. If I want to tag Lindy, I type it, and he is the first example because his name is exactly what I typed. It should be highlighted so I can just hit enter and it tags. However nothing is highlighted so I have to use the mouse to select. Hitting enter does nothing. Yes we are supposed to select who we want to tag, but when you type it exactly it should be selected. If you don't want that one, as in the name is longer and there are more selections, select another. FB works this way and it is very efficient. Is there a button or way to clear the contents of the editor? I try backspace but it won't remove certain things like quotes unless you click that red arrow at the top to have everything move down a line and then highlight and backspace. Can we get a button to clear contents please? Or am I not seeing it? Thanks!
