If you set a custom filter in a forum which returns no results, such as "popular now" (at time of posting), there's a message saying that there are no topics in the subforum (which is misleading), and there's a button to start the first topic (still incorrect). However, the sort by button, which is where the filter can be applied, disappears, so to get back to the normal view, you either have to edit the URL or navigate away from the page and back to it.

The problem with the gallery is that if I upload all my images say like 200 or whatever amount the a auto fill button that will put the users name in the first Copyright box and than send it down to all of them would be a quick thing to add. Other than just typing out the name of the Copyright for over 200 image at once is a little crazy. Could you please add a auto fill option?

There needs to be the ability to create Albums within Albums more than the current 2 levels deep. When a Member has their own Gallery album they are unable to organise their photos within that Album. This seems completely illogical when wanting to encourage the use of the Gallery, it's 2015 with options such as these pre-existing in offerings like Gallery2 for the better part of a decade now.

Okay, huge suggestion for IP.Gallery in IPS 4: the ability to batch select images and add them to a new album. I uploaded some sample images, and now I have no idea how to assign them to an album after the fact. (My original group permissions didn't allow album creation.) There are no options to create an album afterwards!

Hello! My suggestion is to provide more contact options for profile pages. Right now, the contact options are very limited, and I'd like to see more available. Maybe Twitter, Facebook, Email, etc.

I’ve noticed that tables don’t resize well with the CKEditor when viewing on a phone. How are others planning on getting around this issue? Given it’s a 3rd party plug-in editor, not sure if raising a bug here on IPS will resolve this?

When clicking through the images on the horizontal slider widget, would it be possible to roll it over? You hit the end and click and it takes you to that image in the gallery. If the button just stayed, you could keep rolling through and not be taken away from the current page when it wasn't your intention. Otherwise a great little widget!

Can the mobile menu have an "x" or "close" to close it? I keep hitting the back button and it goes back a page. How do you close it? I found tapping outside it works but that is not ideal. The button should be where the menu icon was before it was covered by the menu. Thanks

On mobile, when you click Filters the Content TypeFiltersTime Period...options are collapsed. So you go from one collapsed menu button, to a list of collapsed buttons. There are not that many options and it just takes more clicks, and is cumbersome when trying to set all 3. Can these options be open already? Then we can see what they are all set to on first view. Also it goes from Filters (main button) to a list with Filters as a filter. That is redundant. The top should be renamed. Thanks!

On my site, I have a forum where ppl introduce themselves. As you might imagine sometimes it gets too busy and topic feed is filled with Hello topics. So I divide the topic feeds into two 1. Feed for only introduction posts 2. Rest The first is quite easy. Just select the forum mentioned and you are done. But second is quite difficult. You have to select the rest one by one. I wish we had an "Except For" option so that we could use in such conditions where selected ones would be much more than unselected ones.

Hi, I can't find the place where to rebuild my gallery. We switch albums between 2 category's. when a album is moved, you still see pictures from the moved album in the gallery page (on the old category). Now i know how to rebuild this in ipb 3.0 but don't in ipb 4.0. and why is this not included in the System Scheduler? ok thnx

The size of the image is determined through the css that is, if you want to show a thumbnail 40x40 you need to ship the original image such as 800x600. Because of this my page / files / weighs 6 megabytes, it is not normal, thumbnail needed. (machine translation)

I've only just started playing with it. I was actually hiring someone to set up a Shopify store for me, and I thought.... hey I haven't played with Nexus in 4 yet. Even after a preliminary look at Commerce, I am 99% sure I will cancel my Shopify store.

Is it possible we could get a dev section in the IPS4 Category of the forum. I would like a place to ask what class to extend and the bits and pieces of plugin development I simply don't get. There seems to be a need for it, in my eyes anyway. Not sure if any of the current devs would step up and be able to help, mainly I am sure due to time restraints.

I just noticed that with IPB4, we no longer have the ability to toggle the "Upload" permission per forum. In IPB3 we had the following permissions per forum per user group: Show ForumRead TopicsReply TopicsStart TopicsUploadDownload But with IPB4 we only have: See ForumRead TopicsPost New TopicsReply to TopicsDownload Attachments Can we please get the permission back for Upload? This was pretty critical to my forum as I only allow folks to Upload attachments to the forums in our "Trading Post" (classifieds) area and instead ask them to rely on remote-hosting their pictures for other areas of the community. This keeps my database and file-system footprint smaller.

Can we get access to nightly builds? It would help all of us that are waiting on bug fixes that adversely are effecting our boards. I have worked plenty with nightly builds, it's always been a positive experience for the most part.

Is there any chance we can have comments on reviews? I know it may seem like comments on comments, but it could make sense in the case of Commerce and Downloads. User story (just for @Mark ): Bob releases a file / store item, Sandra leaves a 3 star review which states they're not happy with the product / service provided. Bob wants to improve that 3 star review to a 5 star review, but Sandra has disabled PM's. Bob doesn't have Sandra's email address and no way to contact Sandra. Bob leaves a comment on Sandra's review to see how he can 'fix' the issue to lead to customer satisfaction.

just leaving this here to hopefully have the core system be consistent in paths for uploads. The system generated these directories, the monthly_MM_YYYY is the old style of file naming and still being used. The system also generated monthly_YYYY_MM and oddly it seems this is some 'cache' file because its a mixed bag of different files (attachments user photos etc - even attachments from support system ) Ideally i would like to see /uploads/attachments/2015/04/filename.png.ee3eff6e776c6c9904670a04959d7537 its not really necessary to have "monthly" in the directory path.

When the registration email is sent, it would also be good to include method of registration (i.e. Tapatalk, Facebook, etc…). On the notification, it would also be good to be able to set the admin notify to events such as waiting for admin approval only. At the moment it sends on all registration events.

So I just upgraded my test board and it seems to be fine for now except one thing. I am logged in fine. However, if I try to login as a regular member(under a test account), it redirects me back to my actual main board instead(which is on 3.X still). Why is this and how exactly do I fix this? In fact none of the links work when you click on forum or threads...they all redirect back to the 3.x board saying there was an error.

tl;dr - The simple Origin Pull / image/JS/URLs option from IPB3 has been lost and it's very "hacky" to emulate in IPB4 - The new Amazon S3 storage type is only being used for simple storage rather than CDN - it needs a URL option to work as CDN.
