Overall I really like version 4. But the gallery is seriously lacking features and options. The default layout is confusing for a lot of people, It's hard to search, and it just looks clumsy.

It would nice if Redirect and the URL could open up to a new tab. Just functionality that allows for url's such as blank or self. See Request ID# 960586 for a screen shot.

Hi, Am i the only one wondering, why there is no "Follow Member" Button in this neat little "Popup Profile" you get when hovering over a Members Name or Picture? I can send messages, find his content, even ignore the user, but not follow him instantly. For me "follow" would be the first thing on the list. Any chances i can bring the follow button to the popup profile? thanks

Hi, 1. In term of working with IP.Content Templates, we had a sidebar area name "Template Tags" and that was very useful. So many possibility of parameters and really helpful for template designing. Pages template's Work space is great now but this one is strongly missed. 2. There is no "Comment feed" to create as a block. like Recent Comments from Database/Category 3. In the new versions IPS bring back Some of the very necessary Blocks Filter options. i don't know is that me when i play in Demo version or is this is a problem. Let me say 1st of all I have always been a fan of the download system IPB offers which is why I stick around. All my members love the download system and it's features. However, on my site I have a section where files are rather large and I get emails that the site says "downloaded" but there is no file. Some of the files in the section I am describing can be as large as 50MB and we all know that can take a minute or so to download. Problem is because the site says its downloaded, some members think it is fully downloaded when it's not. So they shoot me emails right away saying there is no file. Which can get a bit annoying. To Whom it May Concern, When one clicks "edit album", people are able to add media into the descriptions. Unfortunately, some of the members on my site have been adding their images into this "edit album" description field, instead of into their actual albums, which is where images should be added. Is there a way to prevent people from adding media into the description field when people click "edit album"? Or is this a feature that IPS will be adding later? Reposting this here as with the tag system it would be nice to know if this is on IPS's radar or not. I'm in agreement with this - I can see my moderators using this extensively to monitor posts of some of the problem users and unfortunately, that information being displayed to anyone who can modify a url ("hey wait a second, how come stream 433 is a stream created by one of the mods of all posts made by me?") is likely to cause drama. A way to make a stream private would be great.

I upgraded to 4.1.14.1 Status widget on home page no longer shows image thumbnails. No images at all. Did something change or is this a bug needing a ticket?

We've been making extended use of the Meta Tag Editor. However, it's nearly a futile process as after we define the page titles, descriptions etc and save. If the Author of that page comes, edits the page, record or whatever type of content entry it may be after they save it disposes of our Meta Tag Edits. This is particularly annoying on Pages Database Records, where we've set them and later the author has updated their pages record and it does away with our edits. There needs to be a checkbox feature that allows you to "lock" the tags and only allow it to change the last update time.

Could you bring back the the breadcrumb bar default activity stream link on this site when looking at the downloads/marketplace please. Many of the links in my default stream take me to the marketplace and it is frustrating that I can't just jump back to it without going via another page on the site to get the link back again. Thanks

This would be a great feature! A member requests his/her account deleted with all content. Admins never like to do that. You can even go ahead and fulfill the request, and they change their mind. Too late. A great feature would be to have a "Deactivate account" type option that would prevent login and hide all content. Options could be: Deactivate this account Y/N Hide all content when deactivated Y/N Allow member to reactivate Y/N You could even have a permission setting to allow members to deactivate, but i'm sure most admins would keep that off. I would like to be able to create reoccurring events, and have my members sign up to one of the events on its own. As it is right now, if i create a reoccurring event for 6pm Monday-Friday but it is intended for folks to be able to select the ONE day they are able to come, they can not do so. If they sign up for one of the days, it signs them up for all of the occurrences of the event. This function is HIGHLY needed for me to be able to do what i am needing from my site. Any attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Right now when you have a user who is logged into the forum and he/she fill out a form and it makes a post to a discussion part of the site then it would be nice to open up the capabilities to allow 3rd party developers to auto subscribe on replies to that post.

The ability to use a different storage configurations on a category basis. I'd like to have a downloads category be set to use another storage config/location for use on another server. It doesn't appear possible right now, unfortunately. But would it be possible for us to have this as an option?

It would make debugging CSS far, far easier if designer mode didn't group all the CSS files together into one file to be sent to the browser, and instead sent each one individually, and instead linked each one individually so that they show up separately in the dev tools. Alternatively, add a source map so the browser can deconstruct it (though the former should be much easier).

My members hate the new Invision 4 compared to the way I had my site running with 3.4. It's cost me a lot of traffic. People simply don't like the interface and I can't say I disagree with them. One of the problem areas is that under 3.4 I created custom blocks where I specifically included the parameter to go to the first unread post of a topic in that feed. The new system doesn't appear to do this - when I create a block for a feed clicking on the results always takes the user to the first post, regardless of whether they have read it or not. In 3.4 I could understand the syntax of the code to be able to fix this, but now I am lost and to be honest, I don't …

It would be nice if you sell things in multiple currencies you can enter your base currency and set a checkbox then the other currencies could update on a schedule thru some API to reflect the exchange rate for that denomination

At the moment the permanent login cookie lasts only 7 days. Please give us a feature to manually edit this important setting. Seven days is definitely to short. I want to make it very easy for returning users to use the forum. I don't know any site where this setting is only this short. I would change it to 365 days.

Many of my users are complaining the new site is intermittently and randomly sluggish, I have noticed this myself. Compared to my 3.3 install prior to upgrade, things have noticebly slowed down. In order to test the theory, I have created a subdomain of the old site (on the same server). It's sensationally fast in comparison. My IPB 3.3 install consitently passes Google's Page Speed Insights test (i.e. always quicker than 0.2 seconds response time), whereas IPS 4.0 is consitently failing this test, sometimes as long as 1.4 seconds to respond. So it's been bugging me for a while but my OCD finally won. There is absolutely no rhyme or reason to the way that things are listed when it comes to applications (specifically Pages but all in general). They each show up in their own free form order in multiple places. First the create menu: Doesn't seem weird until you see that topic is near the top on mine and 3rd from bottom here. I figure, well maybe it's the way they are ordered in my ACP, which is accurate but that will lead me to my final point about being able to order databases.
