The QA works well in spam prevention in registration. It is clearly designed for Guests. Question I have - why does this field not appear in Contacts Us for Guests? If it's forgotten, please add it for Guests in Contacts Us. Thanks.

First of all I apologize If I've missed something in the software here but from what I can tell. A user can disable their messenger in their messenger window. But they cannot re-enable it anywhere. This would make sense if an admin has disabled it due to abuses. But can we get a way for members to re-enable messenger if they disable it themselves?

Is me or is the security link in the ACP menu missing? This is link that gave you recommendations and made some fixes for you like making global.php non-writable. Either I'm going nuts or it's not there in 4.3 Beta

Not sure if this has been brought up already, or if it has been addressed in the next update, but I am curious as to whether it is possible to set up a club using a group selection as permission to enter. For example, if I had an admin team and wanted only them to access a closed group, can I set it that if they are part of an "admin" group (either primary or secondary) they have access to said club? It's a real pain to have to add members individually. Allowing by group would make things easier, at least in my opinion. Thoughts?

I’m the administrator of a community that has an integrated Discord Server with linked accounts. To help with community moderation, I would find a great addition to be the ability to warn users via the REST API. For example, if a member of our community spans our Discord server, I would want to warn that user for spamming. I have a Discord bot that could easily interact with the API to allow Discord moderators to do this without having to grant them moderator access on the community. If you use a password manager to generate a password that is more than 50 characters, and paste it into the password field when setting/changing your password, you will then be unable to use it to log into your account, and have to reset your password to regain access. I reported this in a ticket, but apparently it's "by design". The original contents of my ticket are as follows: On the registration, password change and password reset pages, you cap passwords at 50 characters. hi, we are still struggling with our update to ipb4. we are using ipb mostly over the api. while the update procedure there will be somchanges made. the posts will be wrapped in paragraphs. ascii-smileys will be converted to image-tags and some links in the posts will be converted to embedded content wihout questioning. and, most ugly, that automatically inserted html isn't xhtml conform. why that? this means, we have to filter out the emoticon-smileys after the update and have to take care, that there will be no new ones in the database. you can't switch off the emoticons. we don't like them, we like plain ascii smileys. fortunately we can switch off the embedding, …

Noticed there are inconsistant html/css used in different areas e.g. The Follow button in topic post uses: .ipsApp .ipsButton_link.ipsFollow, .ipsApp .ipsButton_link.ipsPromote But in Gallery it uses: .elGalleryImage .ipsButton.ipsButton_link Both areas use same html: class="ipsFollow ipsButton ipsButton_link ipsButton_verySmall" but for some reason someone decided to add new css for the Gallery image follow button This is just added more bloat to css file No doubt there are other areas that have not come across yet Why do you use two different styles for same item instead of two different styles ?

https://ckeditor.com/letters/ ckeditor released their own real-time collaboration system for their rich text editor, similar in capability to Google Docs or Office 365. I can imagine this being extremely useful. Does IPS intend on utilizing this to add real-time collaboration?

I'm not sure why this isn't already part of the default/base software. Currently, IPS offers the ability to ignore a user by: Post, Message, Signature, and Mention. This really should be expanded into all default IPS applications. Blogs, Gallery, Downloads, etc. For communities which heavily use all applications, there are instances where members require this expanded functionality of the ignore system.

This problem has been raised many of times, but still no any solution for mass topics operations from search results. It's a very common situation when a moderator needs to find and move/delete a bunch of topics. For example, I create a new sub-forum about Toyota cars and want to find and move all topics with the word "toyota". Now it's extremely difficult to do that. I have to open every topic and move them one by one. Why not make it like on a user profile page? @Lindy, do you have any plans to implement that?

I am not sure if Invision is doing this or plans to do this, but I would like to be able to import comments from my YouTube videos, as well as my Facebook business page. I would love it if Invision would automatically import these comments into designated forums where I could answer them and the software would automatically post them back on their respective social media. I could do this with a Social Media Manager program, but would then also want it to appear on the Invision forum. ie: I want all the discussion in one place, so i don't have to keep answering the same questions. I tried to find out how to allow anonymous logins on a per-usergroup basis. Unfortunately that doesn't seem to be possible. I have no idea why such a setting is missing in the usergroup permissions. Can we please get an option "Can log in anonymously" in the usergroup permissions?

I would be great to have more choices of where to show off the extra fields in the downloads app. As it is now if you have many extra fields the File Information bar can become very long and take up unnecessary space When creating an extra field it would be very handy if there was a option to show the field above o below description. This would also help to show important information to the end user before they even read the actual information.

Would be nice if we could customize the footer in Menu Manager. Obviously not tabs but a couple layouts could be offered from a simple row of links to more like what the IPS site has, with columns of links, areas for text and copyright, logo, etc.

I would like to see a way to make it possible to format custom fields in the Downloads app. For example if I have a custom field where uploader have to fill in a url to a website for external support, the field would show "External Support" as a link in the File Information instead of the full url. So when adding a new custom field there should be an option to format how the content is shown on the files page.

In the next release of Invasion Board there will be paid clubs, but from my understanding, this just gives the option to sell admission to that particular club. What about those of use who have premium members (that purchase premium membership as a product via the forum store) who wish to only allow access to those premium members into a particular club? Shouldn't there be a setting for this?
